All the audience on the stadium were banging their feet on the ground and chanting names of their favorite student, cheering them to win.
{WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LET US MOVE ON TO THE NEXT STAGE!!!}
{THIS ISSSSSS.... THE CAVALRY BATTLE!!!!}
The crowd cheered harder, they wanted it to start already.
{VERY WELL! MIDNIGHT, THE STAGE IS YOURS!}
The sounds of whip being struck was heard before everyone consecutively started to quiet down. Once everybody was quiet, she started explaining the instructions.
Each student is given a point value and a team's value depending on where their members finished in preliminaries. The forty-second place finish is worth five points, with five points added to the point value with each cascading place. Individual point values are added together to reach each team's total. These point values are displayed via headbands. The goal of the game is to steal headbands in order to raise the team's score. Contestants are not allowed to make each other fall on purpose. Even if a team loses their headband or falls down, they can compete until the fifteen-minute time limit is up.
Every students from 42nd place above started looking at each and everyone, trying to gauge others who might be teamed up with them.
Before they could continue, however, Midnight's mischievous' voice sounded out, "Ah, that's right. I forgot but... The first place from the race will be getting 10 million points."
Instantly, every eyes were directed towards Izuku who started sweating from the attention.
'I'm done for...'
"Well then, start teaming up!"
At her instructions, everybody started looking for their prospect team.
Izuku was no different, he first went up to Bakugo and asked for a team up.
"Kacchan, you up for it?" he asked with a hopeful gaze.
Katsuki pondered for a while but rejected him in the end, saying, "Our synergy would be bad. You must wear the headband at the top, right?"
Yoshiki went up to them and interrupted him, "Says who?"
Izuku was shocked as well. "What, isn't the first place supposed to be the rider?"
Katsuki was in agreement with this as well, giving Yoshiki a face that says 'explain'.
"Well, we would all be merged anyways, who actually cares who would have to be the rider?" he glanced at the other hopeful faces of their classmates who wanted to team up with the other high ranked students.
"If Izuku and I acted as the leg while you stay as the rider, you could just fly your way up, right?"
Izuku then added, "With my Black Whip, perhaps that could also help us snag or deter the others from chasing."
"And I could match Izuku's speed as long as he stayed in his base form. If push comes to shove... well, what about 'him'?" Yoshiki pointed to another guy on the side who didn't seem that bothered into finding a team at all.
"Him?" asks Izuku while Katsuki gritted his teeth adamantly saying no.
Yoshiki had to explain what his plan for this Cavalry Battle is supposed to be.
"We could work it out like this–"
After explaining, Izuku was left with his eyes widening, and Katsuki was left to agree.
"That's actually a pool-proof plan."
"Tsk. Doesn't mean I have to like it."

Everybody gathered with their teams, everybody was eyeing their team, we know what's gonna happen of course.
"Shinso, you know the drill right?"
Shinso who was at the forefront of the cavalry replied lazily, "I got it, I got it."
They waited tense for the signal.
It wasn't long before their plans would come into fruition.

As Present Mic's voice rang out in the stadium, almost every students shouted their confirmation, adrenaline rushing throughout their bodies.
"""YES!!!!!!"""
{CAVALRY BATTLE!!!! STAAAAAAAAARRRRTTTTT!!!}
Right at the start, both Izuku and Yoshiki heaved Shinso off the ground, which was easy because the two are strength freaks. Katsuki held on to their shoulders for balance while they ran to the left side.
Flashback:
"We are going to stay at Todoroki's left side. Trust me, he won't ever use his fire."
Back to present.
They run at full speed, dodging long ranged Quirks while Todoroki targeted them. It was pandemonium, they purposely ran straight towards other students. Katsuki was blowing off some strays while Izuku's Black Whip was trying to force others into a defensive position and maintain distance due to it's reach. Meanwhile Yoshiki was shouting directions for Izuku to match and also naming off dangers. Shinso was just chilling mostly.
It wasn't long before they collided with another cavalry, this was Hiryu Rin and Jurota Shishida's Cavalry.

Quirk: Beast
Originally, they were trying to force their way in with Shishida's lead with his Quirk. Rin was maintaining scales on his head to create a texture where the headband would stick. Izuku managed to block Shishida's charge with Black Whip but it was torn apart with it's claws.
Yoshiki then shouted for them to turn right. They managed but Shishida didn't. They were hit by a kanji letter saying 'WHAM!!!' and was thrown off to the ground, giving Izuku time to snag Rin's headband.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!!! TAKE THAT YOU EXTRAS!!! I'M THE KING!!!" Katsuki was having the time of his life, he was practically the safest person out of everybody here.
10 minutes left!
Izuku looked at Yoshiki and asked, "Is it time?"
Yoshiki shook his head, saying no. "Not yet, let's do it at the 5 minute mark. I didn't know Class 1-B's Quirks were that strong."
Izuku nodded and followed instructions, they continued running along, dodging Todoroki's pursuit who seemed to be so into them.
Along the way, they continuously managed to trip other cavalries, making it harder for everyone to maintaining their position in the rankings. Along with this, due to Todoroki's pursuit, almost everyone was frozen in place, making it easier for they headbands to be taken.
5 minutes left!
In synchronized motion, both Izuku and Yoshiki changed path and started running straight towards Todoroki.
They were so surprised that they almost stumbled with each members trying to go the other way. It was only through Todoroki's shout to continue forward that they actually tried to continue and collied.
At the last moment however, Katsuki jumped off and flew into the air, while Izuku separated from Yoshiki, leaving him to carry Shinso on his back and they all went through other places.
Almost everyone watching was dumbfounded as they looked towards Midnight.
Midnight scratched her head trying to think if that was against the rules, however, was left to let them continue as technically, there were no rules that forbid it.
Izuku went into Full Cowling and started breaking the ice around them while Yoshiki run around taunting everybody.
All of them were converging towards the middle, as seen with Katsuki keeping pace up in the sky, so everybody started running towards the middle as well.
Iida shouted towards Todoroki. "Once Bakugo tried to land, I will use a move that will let us speed blitz but after that, I wouldn't be able to move anymore!"
Todoroki pondered for a moment before agreeing. "It is worth trying!"
That's what they did, Todoroki instantly freezes part of the stadium to box in Team Bakugo. On the other side, Manga released strings of onomatopoeia, closing off the other side.
Everybody was almost sure that this would be the last stand, and Team Bakugo was left with nowhere else to run.
The ground started softening, making it hard for the others to move or run, but it was fine. Soon, Izuku, Yoshiki, and Shinso was nearing each other waiting for Katsuki to drop down. All eyes was on Katsuki, trying to see if he will drop down, because to be fair, staying up in the air would be a lot better.
However, Midnight's voice rang out, "Last minute addition, no staying in the air for more than 3 minutes!"
This made the other's eyes lit up in determination, soon, Bakugo will have to drop down.
Iida was already igniting his engines, the tips heating up.
Team Uraraka who was with Mei, Tokoyami, and surprisingly Toru was not even participating since they already made enough points to make it.
Katsuki began dropping down and–
"Scatter."
Everyone paused and disengaged from their perspective cavalries and started going the opposite direction. The others were shocked by their other members who started disengaging.
Iida who was already mid sprint made a sudden turn, and with his speed, he broke his ankle, he stumbled to the ground, broke his hip, and crashed straight into the block of ice, breaking the entirety of his ribs. His other teammates didn't suffer as much as he did, but the sound of him smashing through the wall of ice took the other brainwashed students out of their state and was left confused wondering what they're doing.
Blood spurted out from his mouth, Izuku was immediately by his side, supporting him. Katsuki dropped down on Yoshiki's shoulder like a monkey on a bar, looking at the chaos happening and then at the one who caused it all: Shinso.
Flashback.
"Can you delay an order?" Yoshiki asked Shinso.
"Kind of, I've tried it before but it is mentally exhausting the longer I forbid on ordering them."
"Can you hold out for 15 minutes then? You won't have to move at all."
"Hmm, what's the plan?"
Back to present.
Yoshiki managed to let out a nervous chuckle.
"Holy shit, maybe it is too full proof?"
Shinso just managed a nod, overseeing his work. He did that? That's...
The match ended just like that because nobody wanted to continue with someone almost dying.

4TH: TEAM ASHIDO (Kirishima, Sero)
