Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Chrono Rift Pursuing Light and Song of the Nibelungen

"The best tailor I know…" Theresa thought for a moment. Her own clothes seemed to have all been sewn stitch by stitch by her grandfather…

She really didn't seem to know any good tailors. If she had to name one, it would be Cecilia, but… Cecilia had already been gone for a long time.

"What's wrong? You're hesitating. With your connections, Theresa, you shouldn't have trouble finding a good tailor, right?" Shun continued.

"There is one, but you probably won't want to see him, Shun…" Theresa felt she had made it very clear. Shun was so smart, he should understand, right?

"Heh, what's the big deal? Is there anyone in this world I can't meet?" Shun guessed that the person might be homosexual or something, which was why Theresa thought he wouldn't want to see him. After all, outstanding artists always had some quirks, and he could understand that.

"Fine, fine. I'll help you arrange a meeting with him tomorrow." Seeing Shun say this, Theresa decided to just go with it.

Shun nodded. Since Theresa had agreed, there was no problem. There wasn't much time left until Kiana's birthday. He hoped this so-called best tailor could produce two high-spec outfits in time.

Shun smiled and patted Theresa on the shoulder. "As expected of you, Theresa. Reliable!"

In the past, he would have immediately thought of Gray Serpent for something like this. However, after the previous incident, he had started rethinking their relationship, so for now he didn't plan to ask him for help.

Unfortunately, Shun didn't know yet what he would be facing tomorrow. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't be smiling right now.

After giving his instructions, Shun left. Theresa sat on the bed and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness he didn't notice… Recalling the dream she had, Theresa's cheeks couldn't help but flush red.

"Seriously… why would I have a dream like that? He didn't even do anything, right? Is it my own problem? Am I getting old?" Theresa muttered to herself.

But she… Forget it, she didn't want to think about it. First, she should change her panties…

Theresa quietly got out of bed, moving carefully in case Shun came back for a surprise return. After changing her panties and lying back down, she still felt a sense of unreality.

She couldn't sleep… After having that kind of dream and then being dragged out of bed and messed with by Shun, she was now completely wide awake.

In that case, she might as well call Grandpa. It was winter now, and she hadn't contacted him in quite a while. She figured Grandpa would probably bring her some winter clothes when the time came.

Although Theresa wasn't afraid of the cold, it was still about the atmosphere. She should still have the proper clothes.

Perfect, it was still daytime on Grandpa's side right now. She would call him… The call was picked up almost instantly after dialing. As always, Grandpa answered extremely quickly.

"Oh my, my dear granddaughter. Why did you suddenly think of calling Grandpa today? Are you short on money again?"

Listening to Otto's playful voice, Theresa couldn't help but smile. She cleared her throat and said in a spoiled tone,

"Grandpa! Do I really seem like that kind of person in your eyes? Can't I call you just because I miss you?"

"Hiss… Missing Grandpa so much that you can't sleep in the middle of the night? I didn't expect to be this important in my little Theresa's eyes. Grandpa is so happy!"

When it came to Theresa, Otto always had infinite patience and enthusiasm — something no one else in the world could compare to.

"Fine, I'll just say it then." Seeing that her lie had been seen through, Theresa stopped acting cute and confessed directly to Otto.

"Actually, I have a friend who recently wants to give a birthday gift to someone important to him. And coincidentally, the person who is important to him is also very important to me."

"Then we discussed giving her an outfit. I thought the best tailor I know is you, Grandpa… So, um, I wanted to ask Grandpa for a favor."

"Since it's a request from my little Theresa, Grandpa will naturally accept it. However, my little Theresa, I have one request of my own." Otto's tone suddenly became low, making Theresa a little nervous.

"Go ahead, as long as it's not too excessive…" Though Theresa thought to herself, what excessive request could Otto possibly make of her?

"Kill me. One day in the future, Grandpa hopes you can send me off on my final journey… If the last thing I see after that is my granddaughter, then Grandpa can rest in peace."

Otto spoke in a tone that made it least likely to be a joke, saying the words that least sounded like a joke.

"Grandpa, you're joking, right!" Theresa might complain about Otto or even hate him for some reasons, but she could never imagine a day when Grandpa was no longer there.

"Alright, alright. Grandpa was just kidding. I've already lived for five hundred years. How could I suddenly die? You're underestimating your Grandpa too much!"

"My little Theresa, you really can't take a joke!" Otto's tone suddenly changed as he let out a cheerful laugh, as if the words he had said to Theresa earlier had been nothing but a complete joke.

"Grandpa doesn't have many requests. I just want to hear my precious granddaughter say 'I like Grandpa the most.' Then Grandpa will be completely satisfied."

Compared to the previous sentence, this one seemed to be what Otto truly wanted to hear — at least that was how Theresa felt.

However, even though she hadn't said such spoiled words for many years, she was asking Grandpa for a favor right now, and what Otto had said earlier had left her a little scared.

So Theresa still said it straightforwardly.

"Theresa likes Grandpa the most!" In the quiet room, Theresa's cute voice echoed in every corner.

The next day, Shun arrived as promised at another high-end café in the academy city, carrying the concept sketches he had stayed up all night drawing from memory onto paper.

As for the two design sketches he had drawn, any old captain would probably be able to guess — they were the "Chrono Rift Pursuing Light" of the Herrscher of Flamescion and the guardian form of "Song of the Nibelungen" from the Celestial Knight.

Because the in-game outfits differed quite a bit from reality, Shun hadn't fully recreated them. He had referenced some design elements from the real-life version of "Princess of Winter" to create concept art for two outfits similar to the ones in the game.

Since Shun didn't understand fashion design, there were definitely problems in some areas. However, he believed in the level of the tailor Theresa had invited. Any mistakes could just be fixed by him, right?

Shun arrived at the designated spot, lowered his head to find the seat number Theresa had sent him, and sat down directly once he found it. Only then did he look up at the person sitting across from him.

"Hi, old friend. Did you miss me?" A voice Shun least wanted to hear rang in his ears.
