Chapter 129 - Chapter 129: Seele’s Little Thoughts

How should he put it? Plans could never keep up with changes. Although Shun had happily resolved Bronya's issue, the decision had been made on a whim, so there might not be enough time.

In the blink of an eye, it was almost time for his meeting with Seele. Shun still had to take Bronya all the way to Tibet…

The last time he went to Misteln's place, Shun had not yet obtained the Cosmic Juggernaut, so he didn't have the coordinates for Misteln's location. That meant he would have to travel there by conventional means again.

"Bronya, there's something I need to discuss with you…" Shun explained to Bronya why it was inconvenient for him.

"Seele… mm…" Bronya almost wavered in her firm resolve, but hadn't she just made up her mind? She wanted to change herself until she was worthy of standing in front of Seele again.

"Don't worry. Bronya will take good care of herself." Although she felt very reluctant, since she had made the promise, she couldn't go back on it so easily.

"Alright then…" Since Bronya herself had said so, Shun found it hard to persuade her otherwise. After all, this whole situation had been started by him.

Time reached twenty minutes before the agreed meeting time with Seele. Shun arrived early at the entrance of the subway station outside St. Freya Academy.

Arriving early at the meeting spot was undoubtedly a good habit. Shun had always been punctual. However, today it seemed someone was even more punctual than him.

No, this had already gone beyond punctuality… The moment Shun arrived in front of the subway station, he saw Seele standing there wearing a blue-and-white winter outfit, with a small shawl draped over her shoulders and a white hat on her head. It looked like she had already been waiting for some time.

She stood quietly, her head slightly lowered, as if she had been waiting for a long while. The cold wind occasionally brushed past, lifting a few strands of hair on her forehead, but she didn't move at all. She simply gazed silently ahead, as though expecting someone's arrival.

Shun walked straight up to Seele and temporarily shielded her from the cold wind. Although the current temperature wasn't too low, it was already winter after all.

In his subconscious, Shun still treated Seele as the little sister who had just come out of the Sea of Quanta and had trouble taking care of herself.

"Brother, you're here!" Accompanied by this crisp and pleasant call, Seele's crystal-clear eyes locked tightly onto the much taller figure in front of her. On her fair and delicate little face, a sweet smile instantly bloomed like spring flowers, warm enough to melt the entire long winter.

That smile was like the first ray of sunlight piercing through morning mist, or like a lotus flower gently swaying by a tranquil summer night pond, radiating an irresistible charm and warmth.

"Seele, how long have you been waiting here?" Shun grabbed Seele's hands, which had turned somewhat red from the cold, and warmed them in his palms.

"Not long. Seele only arrived about half an hour early. It hasn't been long before Brother came." Seele's sea-blue eyes, vast like the ocean, were filled with sincerity and seriousness, making it easy for Shun to believe her words.

"You waited an extra ten minutes? You…" Shun didn't know what to say. If it was only ten extra minutes, he couldn't really complain. He simply made a mental note to come even earlier next time.

Mm, but what Shun didn't know was that Seele had simply taken the time of his arrival as the standard and had only waited half an hour.

"Brother, where is big sister Bronya?" Seele looked behind Shun in confusion and didn't see the familiar figure. Based on her understanding of Shun, it would actually be strange if he didn't take this opportunity to bring Bronya to see her.

Mm, although saying this felt a bit sorry toward big sister Bronya, compared to the three of them being together, she still preferred spending time alone with Brother. As for big sister Bronya, she could make it up to her later.

Hearing Seele's question, Shun rubbed the tip of his nose somewhat awkwardly and said, "Something unexpected happened on the way. In short, Seele, it might take some time before you can see Bronya."

Shun told Seele about Bronya's decision.

"As expected of big sister Bronya!" She wasn't really annoyed with Bronya. After all, the other girl had been her spiritual support before she met Shun. Seele simply felt that if she could be alone with Shun, it would be better that way.

If she really met Bronya today, she would still be very happy. After all, this was her big sister Bronya.

"Alright, let's not talk about Bronya for now." Although the original purpose of coming to find Seele today had been to resolve the issues between her and Bronya, that didn't mean the plan had changed and Shun suddenly had nothing to do.

Going out to play in winter was definitely different from summer and tended more toward indoor activities.

Since Seele had arrived earlier than Shun, she took the lead today and brought Shun to a family restaurant. Speaking of which, this kind of family restaurant could be considered a Far East specialty.

"Does Brother want anything in particular? The desserts and omurice at this shop are really delicious." Seele seemed quite familiar with this Homu-themed family restaurant.

"Later… this place wouldn't happen to be where Master works part-time, right?" Shun suddenly asked.

"Don't worry, Brother. Today we won't see big sister Fu Hua at this shop." Seele chuckled and deliberately leaned close to Shun's ear to whisper.

"That's good…" It wasn't that he was deliberately avoiding Fu Hua, but the thought of running into Fu Hua while she was working as a waitress here would inevitably be very awkward.

Poor thing—this family restaurant was added to Shun's blacklist before the food even reached his mouth.

One omurice, one order of fries, and a cup of homemade sparkling drink that was clearly popular with girls. Seele had the exact same order.

Since Shun and Seele had arrived earlier than the usual meal rush, there weren't many people in the shop yet, so the dishes were served quickly.

Omurice could have ketchup squeezed on top to write words, and in maid cafés there were even "magic" ways to make the rice taste better, but neither Shun nor Seele bothered with those tricks.

"How does Brother feel?" Seele asked after taking a few bites. She clearly liked this restaurant a lot. Shun silently removed the shop from his blacklist. He could just come when Fu Hua wasn't working.

"Other than the fact that they didn't use overnight rice, there's nothing wrong… Wait, no. In any ordinary family restaurant, can the chef control the heat this well?"

Shun glanced toward the restaurant's kitchen and immediately understood something. Good thing he hadn't made any sharp comments earlier… What he had said was simply about the ingredients themselves.

"Seele, let me out for a bit…" A voice from the bottom of her heart reached Seele's ears.

"The other me?" Seele waited for a long time, but the other her did not respond.

"Fine, I really can't do anything with you…" Seele closed her eyes and relinquished control of her body.
