Chapter 5 - Chapter 4 — Memories That Stayed

Some memories don't fade, no matter how hard we try to move forward. They stay quietly within us — in songs, in places, in random moments when the world suddenly feels familiar again. I thought time would erase everything, but instead, it only taught me how to live with those memories.

Every laugh, every small conversation, every silent moment we shared still lives somewhere inside me. Sometimes they make me smile, sometimes they hurt a little, but they never truly leave. It's strange how people can go away, yet the feelings they leave behind continue to stay.

I realized memories are not meant to be forgotten; they are pieces of us. And maybe moving on doesn't mean losing them — maybe it just means learning to carry them without breaking anymore. 🌙

At that moment, I closed my eyes and thought only about him. The noise around me faded, and all that remained were the memories we once lived together. It felt as if time had slowed down just to let me stay there a little longer.

Then I softly said to him, "They say when a person dies, the heart remembers its happiest moments for seven minutes." I wondered quietly… would those seven minutes include us too?

Maybe those moments were never meant to last forever, but they were real — real enough to stay alive inside my memories. Sitting there, I realized that sometimes endings don't come with loud goodbyes; they arrive silently, while we are still holding onto pieces of yesterday.

And as my eyes opened again, I understood something painful yet beautiful — some people leave our lives, but they never truly leave our heart's memories. 🌙
