Chapter 1 - The Fall of Umbraxis

The sky above their world was breaking apart.

Cracks of burning blue light tore through the world's dark atmosphere of the planet Umbraxis , the home of the creatures made of shadows. What had once been a planet of flowing darkness. was now collapsing under waves of blinding energy. The invading aliens are known as beings of great cosmic powers.

"They've breached the inner veil," whispered Kael, his form flickering as distant explosions rippled across the horizon.

Beside him, Lyra clutched a small, trembling figure no larger than a human child, yet made of soft, shifting shadow. Their son.

"He's too young," Lyra said, her voice unsteady. "He doesn't even know what he is yet."

"He will," Kael replied, though the certainty in his tone was forced. "If he stays, he dies with us and our planet. If he goes… he might become something more."

A deafening roar shook the ground. In the distance, towering constructs of radiant metal pierced through the planet's surface, draining the very essence of Umbraxis. The aliens had feared the powers of the shadow creatures for centuries. the only force capable of resisting their expansion across the stars. And so, they came not to conquer but to erase.

Kael knelt before his son. "Listen to me," he said gently. "Where you're going, you'll be different. You must blend in with your shadow powers. But never forget it the destruction that the cosmanins are doing to our planet"

The child's glowing red eyes flickered. "Will I see you again?"

Lyra pulled him close, her form wrapping around him like a protective cloak. "Every shadow you stand in… every quiet moment in the dark… we'll be there watching you."

With trembling hands, Kael activated the last escape pod, a small, pulsating sphere of condensed shadow energy. It hovered in the air, humming softly, untouched by the destruction around it.

"There isn't much time," Kael said.

Reluctantly, Lyra placed their son inside the vessel. The sphere sealed around him, dimming until only a faint silhouette remained.

"Find your strength," Take the form of the creature that lives there " Become strong And one day… These aliens will try to take over your new home and you must protect it."

Kael stepped back and raised his hand. With a final surge of power, he launched the pod into the fractured sky. It shot upward, slipping through the collapsing atmosphere just as a wave of blinding Light swallowed the land beneath them.

For a brief moment, silence returned.

Then Umbraxis was gone.

Far away, on a quiet blue planet called Earth, a streak of darkness crossed the sky.

It fell unseen. As it crashed into a forest.

shadows stirred as he began to awaken.
