Victor's voice cut through the charged atmosphere like a blade through silk. Each word carried the weight of accusation and bitter truth.
"My brother standing before you is a master at manipulation and a dangerous werewolf," Victor declared, his tone unwavering and crystal clear. "This nightmare began for me when our brother died and the Alpha position of Ironfang became available."
I maintained my composure, keeping my expression carefully blank.
Victor pressed on with his revelation.
"Benedict positioned himself as someone completely uninterested in claiming the Alpha throne. He persuaded me that our nephew was too inexperienced to handle such tremendous responsibility. I believed him completely. That belief drove me to challenge Kaelen directly."
He drew a measured breath before continuing.
