Chapter 59 - Basketball coach fic idea

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a great Sunday. I'm writing this message to let you know that I've reviewed your opinions and ideas, and since the vast majority of you want a story about a basketball coach, I've been working on the details of the plot and story, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Name: Logan Anderson

Face claim

Date of Birth: July 28, 1973

Age: 29

Height: 6 ft 5 in

He was a college basketball player who made it to the NBA, but his career came to an abrupt end when he suffered a severe anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury; he was ruthlessly cut by his team, but instead of falling apart, he began a coaching career, starting out as an analyst.

Team: Toronto Raptors

After the disastrous 2002–03 season, the Raptors' front office fired head coach Lenny Wilkens, sparking a crisis as no coach wanted to take over a team outside the United States. Chris stepped forward and presented the front office with a long-term plan and his ideas for the game, convincing them to give him a chance with a one-year contract at the minimum salary.

Now I'm wondering if it should be someone who has been reincarnated and knows the future, or simply a visionary whose vision is ahead of his time, drafting the promising talents who never lived up to their potential.

Romance: For this part, I have three options in mind

a) divorced: After he suffered the injury, his marriage went through several crises, ultimately leading to his separation from his wife and limiting his ability to see his son to weekends or the off-season

b) womanizer: someone who has several romantic relationships until he finally settles down, but who is the subject of numerous scandals in the press involving him and celebrities or women, and is considered the biggest womanizer in NBA history

c) Married: He's already married, and he and his wife have decided to leave everything behind and commit to his future in Toronto by moving there and doing everything together.

Picture of his wife

That's what I've been thinking so far, since I feel that putting him on the Raptors gives him the freedom to help shape the team's identity, as well as being the face of Canadian basketball—especially since the Grizzlies had moved to Memphis by that time.

Let me know what you think in the comments
