The corridor was dark, lit only by the occasional torch bracket. Spike and Veth trotted ahead, ember eyes leaving trails of light in the darkness.
Kaelen's hand found the ring on his finger. The space ring Lysander had given him, warm against his skin.
He had 360 points left. Not enough for the Wave Dampening Array. Not enough for the Harbor Reinforcement blueprint. But enough for something else, something smaller but that might help.
