Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Martial Soul Awakening

Led by Old Tom, the zu zong followed him to the Martial Soul Hall in the center of Holy Soul Village.

Of course, the so-called Martial Soul Hall was just a large wooden house.

In Douluo Continent, everyone has a Martial Soul, and every year at this time, the Martial Soul Hall would specially send Soul Masters to awaken the Martial Souls of commoners.

It has to be said that the Martial Soul Hall's system is very friendly to commoners. Sometimes the zu zong really couldn't understand what those people were thinking, enjoying the benefits of the Martial Soul Hall while hating it. Even the reputation of those impoverished nobles of the two great empires was much better in their eyes than that of the Martial Soul Hall.

Did they really have to be happy like ten thousand years later, when commoners couldn't awaken their Martial Souls? Why didn't they think that most of them were also commoners before becoming Soul Masters!

Just like in the original story, there were eight children in Holy Soul Village undergoing Martial Soul Awakening this year, but with the clan leader, there were nine.

Old Jack and the zu zong arrived a little late, just in time to meet Old Jack and Tang San at the entrance of the Martial Soul Hall.

Old Jack and Old Tom were old acquaintances, but neither of them would yield to the other, and their meetings were never pleasant.

Old Jack spoke first, "Haha, you old codger, long time no see! I thought you were dead!"

Old Tom laughed and retorted, "Haha, I was dead, but the underworld wouldn't take me, so I came back to life. You, Old Jack, haven't gone down, so how could I?" The

zu zong and Tang San met again after their last encounter.

Enemies meeting are bound to be furious, and Tang San, for some reason, was extremely annoyed by this boy of similar age whom he had only met a few times.

Every time he saw the boy's face, the usually calm Tang San felt an urge to punch him.

However, with Old Jack present, he couldn't act rashly. His face flushed red with suppressed rage, he could only pretend not to see him and greet Old Jack before walking into the Spirit Hall.

[Ding, Tang San dislikes the host, hatred value increased to 6%, hatred points increased by 100.]

The zu zong sneered inwardly, but outwardly pretended to be oblivious and followed them inside.

Besides the nine children present, including the clan leader and Tang San, there was also a young man from the Spirit Hall. He appeared to be in his twenties, with striking features and handsome features. He wore a white, fitted outfit with a black cloak on his back, and a fist-sized "Soul" character on his chest. This was the standard attire for Spirit Hall personnel.

On his left chest was a badge engraved with three intersecting longswords.

The number three represented the third-rank title of a Soul Master, Great Soul Master, while the longswords indicated that this deacon from the Spirit Hall was a Battle Soul Master.

The zu zong stood at the last position, secretly smiling as he looked at the young man before him. "So this is the blind Douluo, Master Su Yuntao. I can finally see the Lone Wolf Martial Soul."

The young man smiled and said, "My name is Su Yuntao, a level 26 Great Soul Master, and I am your guide. Now, I will awaken your Martial Souls one by one. Remember, no matter what happens, don't be afraid."

Su Yuntao shouted softly, "Martial Soul Possession—Lone Wolf."

The zu zong discovered that Su Yuntao had indeed transformed into a werewolf, just like in the original story, with two spirit rings, one white and one yellow, rising from beneath his feet.

The werewolf's fierce and ferocious appearance startled even the prepared clan leader, as this was the first time he had ever seen a werewolf in person.

As in the original story, the Martial Soul awakening proceeded smoothly.

Without any surprises, the first seven children awakened either a scythe or Blue Silver Grass as their Martial Souls, neither of which possessed any spirit power.

  It was Tang San's turn.

When Tang San awakened his Martial Soul, light gathered on his right hand, much more magnificent and dazzling than the others.

Su Yuntao was first hopeful, then surprised, and finally disappointed. Blue Silver Grass with innate full soul power.

Su Yuntao said indifferently, "Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul, innate full soul power, next!"

The zu zong looked at Tang San's tightly clenched left hand behind his back, his brows furrowing slightly. He stroked his chin with his right hand, pondering, "It seems that even without the blessing of the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, he still awakened twin martial souls." Then he looked at the Blue Silver Grass in Tang San's right palm, revealing a strange smile.

Finally, it was the clan elder's turn. Without Su Yuntao saying anything, he had already stood in the center of the six black stones.

As Su Yuntao poured in six streams of soul power, the pale golden light shone again.

The zu zong, immersed in the awakening formation, was enveloped in golden light.

Drawn by the energy of the array, the clan leader seemed to enter a mysterious and warm world.

  *Crack!*

The zu zong clearly felt something within his body shatter, and all the warmth surged into his palm in an instant.

A Blue Silver Grass, different from Tang San's previous one—larger, thicker, and with unique patterns—slowly condensed in the clan leader's hand.

At the same time, the zu zong's body began to change; his originally wheat-colored skin turned milky white, and his short black hair gradually turned blue-silver, showing a tendency to grow.

[Ding, congratulations to the host for awakening the Martial Soul: Blue Silver Emperor, Soul Power increased to level 10, reward: Stealing attempts ×10]

: Douluo Continent   Outside the Spirit Hall, Old Jack and Old Tom had long since stopped arguing!   The two paced back and forth at the entrance, trying to calm their restless hearts. The Spirit Hall doors   creaked   open, and Su Yuntao led the children out.   Due to the large number of awakened spirits, Su Yuntao had consumed a considerable amount of spirit power and was now quite exhausted.   However, the smile on his face showed that he was in a very good mood; most likely, someone had awakened a good spirit.   Old Jack leaned forward, asking hopefully, "Well, Master Su Yuntao, has anyone in our Holy Soul Village awakened their soul power this year?"   Su Yuntao nodded first, then shook his head, saying regretfully, "Yes and no. There's a boy in Holy Soul Village named Tang San who awakened innate full soul power, but unfortunately, it's Blue Silver Grass, which is useless."   Then, the light in Su Yuntao's eyes dimmed further, and he said with a hint of bitterness, "Innate full soul power, one in ten thousand. If I had it, I would have been a Soul King or Soul Emperor long ago, and even a Soul Saint wouldn't be out of the question."   Old Jack, holding Tang San's hand, hurriedly asked, "A useless martial soul? Blue Silver Grass? What should we do! Can this child still become a Soul Master?"   Su Yuntao's eyes darted around, and he stroked his smooth chin, thinking for a moment before answering, "He should be able to! But don't have too high hopes. Blue Silver Grass is undoubtedly a useless martial soul; its potential is ultimately limited."   "It would be great if he could become a Soul Master! It would be great if he could become a Soul Master! Our Holy Soul Village hasn't produced a Soul Master in decades!" Old Jack's eyes shone even brighter as he spoke, his gaze towards his old friend Tom becoming increasingly arrogant, his nose held high as if to say, "See that? Innate full Soul Power, from our Holy Soul Village."   Old Tom, oblivious to Old Jack's gaze, looked around with a puzzled expression.   "Strange, where did that brat from our village go?"   (End of Chapter)
