The air in the Sydney military base was thick with the scent of ozone and sterile chemicals. Richard, James, Gwen, Sugar, and Salt stood in a circle, the golden glow of the vaccine still pulsing faintly in their veins. They were no longer just survivors; they were the first humans in history to be invisible to the "Z" virus.
"Z-Hunters!" Richard shouted, drawing the Tokugawa Katana. The titanium blade shimmered with a deadly blue light. "It's time to take our world back! TIME TO ATTACK!!"
The Silent Streets
They charged out of the bunker's heavy steel doors, weapons raised and hearts hammering against their ribs. They expected a war. They expected thousands of snarling, grey-skinned monsters clawing at the gates.
Instead, they found silence.
The streets of Sydney were eerily empty. The burning cars had flickered out into smoldering husks. The wind whistled through the shattered glass of the skyscrapers, carrying nothing but the smell of salt from the harbor. Not a single moan echoed in the alleys. Not a single "Z" creature wandered the pavement.
"Where are they?" Gwen whispered, her baseball bat lowered in confusion. "There were thousands here just an hour ago."
James checked the perimeter. "It's like they just... evaporated. Or left."
Sugar grabbed the LTL (Location Tracker and Locator) receiver from his belt. His face went pale as he stared at the screen. The red dot representing Alfred's signal—the one they thought was lost in the shoe factory explosion—was moving.
"Sugar, what is it?" Salt asked, leaning over his shoulder.
"The signal..." Sugar's voice trembled. "It's not in Indonesia. It's not even on this continent. The LTL is tracking Alfred's frequency... and it's moving straight up."
"Up?" Richard asked.
"He's leaving the planet," Sugar whispered, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Alfred is in space. And the entire 'Z' horde... the tracker shows the mass bio-signals are congregating at a single point in the atmosphere. They aren't dead, Richard. They're being reclaimed."
The Crack of Doom
Suddenly, the sky above Sydney turned a violent, electric violet. The clouds swirled into a massive, rotating vortex, and the temperature dropped forty degrees in a single second. A deafening crack of thunder shook the very foundations of the city, shattering what remained of the hotel windows.
BOOM!
A massive bolt of blue lightning struck the center of the road, just fifty meters from the Z-Hunters. The impact carved a deep, smoking crater into the asphalt.
From the center of the white-hot smoke, a figure emerged. It wasn't a zombie. It wasn't a soldier.
It was a boy, no older than fourteen. He wore a simple, modern hoodie, but his eyes were swirling galaxies of pure electrical energy. Small arcs of lightning danced between his fingertips and crackled through his hair. He looked at the battle-hardened Z-Hunters with a smirk that held the wisdom of a thousand years.
"Who are you?" Richard demanded, stepping forward with his Katana raised.
The boy tilted his head, his eyes glowing brighter. He looked at the HV TONITRUS 74 MAX in Sugar's hand and then at the katana. He spoke, and his voice sounded like a thousand storms echoing at once.
"The 'Z' was just a test, brothers," the boy said. "A filter to see who was worthy of the New Era. You passed."
He stepped out of the crater, the ground beneath his feet turning to glass from the heat. He looked at Richard, then at James and Gwen, his smirk widening into a knowing grin.
"Hello, buddies," the boy said, his voice echoing with the power of the Gods of Elements. "Manasilayo? Shall we move ???
