Everyone wonders what their profession will be at this stage of their life . I have lived in this world long enough to know that a profession separates one 's social standing .
"Emilia Vorhes " Called the sage and handed her the God's offspring . The God's Offspring , honestly this shit is the stuff of legends . When I first got isekai'd in this world , I was born as the child of a Noble Country lord Nicholas callahan. At first I may have been very uncomfortable especially towards my mother , but eventually I realized that they were good people . Nicholas and eve raised me well ,I will not disappoint them .
She held the offspring in her hand and using the ceremonial knife cut her wrist to allow the blessing to manifest . I have learned one thing about this world and that is No power is without limitations , even s rank professions have them . She waited but there was no vision sadly she didn't awaken a profession . Around 7 out of 10 children are unable to awaken professions at all . I wonder if plot armour will help me today.
"Nathan Helenski " A Blond boy appeared with a grin and grabbed the Offspring and sacrificed his blood on the altar. Suddenly an Icy wind appeared in the sky and there was snowfall . It was the A tier Profession [ Elemental Ice Mage] .Damn this guy was lucky.
Next " Reinhard von Lohengramm " for some reason the name sounded similar . Anyway more trials went by again and again. I was beginning to get bored until-
" Xavier callahan " I sighed . He was a tall figure with astounding hair , If I was not narrating this You would have thought he was the main character . The Vision appeared here as well , This light no...o.it can't be , this is the S Rank Profession [ Time Lord ] , apparently it has the ability to slow down time in a particular radius . An absolutely overpowered profession . Everyone was in awe " This is an S tier Profession after 6 Years " . " We finally have an S tier Profession , He's definitely a genius". He glanced at me but then quickly hid his gaze in fear , huh well this was to be expected.
The Sage Delighted Congratulated him , But he just stood there in fear . I felt a little for him , maybe he was too far gone and even the title of a genius couldn't bring him back.
Next " Ross Callahan" . Hesitating a bit , I gathered my courage and held the offspring in my sweaty palms and cut my wrist before the altar . Slowly drop by drop/blood fell on the altar . Suddenly a calm horror passed before my eyes . It was a hooded figure , I could feel something from him...Was it bloodlust . Suddenly he said something mystifying " How far will you go ?" I woke up hyperventilating , coincidently I was on the ground . The sage looked terrified he turned towards me and said " Child What are you " , i had no Idea what those words would bring me to. why was there no vision and did he saw what I saw .He held my hands and used divine provocation a skill to determine if a person has really awakened .
He asked me what does it say on your System window . Oh that's right , A Person Awakens the system window when he awakens the profession. I called for the system suddenly I saw a screen .

What ? no way , Why didn't the plot armour work , It says that this is a god tier profession meanings as the ranks increase it would get more useful . However I have no combat attacks at all , how am I supposed to progress . No wait , There definitely is a way , though it may be unethical . As for the sage 's question I should just answer B - rank for now . My family does not have funds nor do I have the power for myself to be anything above that . I answered the sage's question as a B-tier necromancer, He looked dissatisfied yet suspicious . He had never heard of this profession yet , but he just ignored it as the coming of new professions wasn't rare. Every two years , We would get a new Profession . however almost all the professions were dealt by the ranks , since i claimed it was B rank , that should dial down his suspicion.
After the ceremony , out of 1500 Students only 300 could get a Profession , less than what should have been . Among the Guests was the Principal od Eldoria Academy , A Holy Knight An A tier Profession , Though the low amount of students that he could poach , He was looking quite happy probably due to Time lord appearing this year . As the Celebrations started , One could notice the social standings that had formed Just ten minutes post ceremony . This World was truly the survival of the fittest.
