Chapter 319 - The Final Battle Begins

"But... how is that even possible? How did you manage to do this?"

Even now, Mantis remained completely bewildered, unable to hold back a wave of awe:

"If Father knew you possessed a capability like this, even if you demanded to be his father, he probably wouldn't have turned you down!"

Everyone: "..."

Talk about... a lethal hit of filial piety.

"Just because your father couldn't do it doesn't mean I can't," Peter offered a completely nonchalant explanation.

"Unlike your useless Celestial father, who was composed entirely of sentient energy, I simply absorbed his power."

"My natural human body and my pre-existing energy systems didn't vanish just because I acquired his Celestial reserves."

"They continuously fuse and harmonize with every new capability I obtain!"

"And my baseline energy network already possesses the fundamental traits required for granting divine blessings."

Hearing this, Sif froze for a second before blurting out:

"You mean... like Asgard's divine power blessings?!"

"Pretty close~" Peter offered Sif an approving nod.

"You know the enchantment mechanics behind Mjolnir better than anyone—as long as someone is deemed worthy, even a mortal can channel the power of Thor."

"What I just did was essentially craft a blessed weapon out of my own energy reserves and embed it into Mantis. Though, of course, the energy involved spans far more than just Asgardian magic."

In truth, the actual secret to distributing power so seamlessly lay within Peter's internal Chakra seeds.

Originating from the Fruit of the Divine Tree, Chakra naturally possessed traits of sharing, resonance, and conduction.

Currently in Celestial Mode, Peter was functionally equivalent to a Tailed Beast formed entirely of dense Chakra in the Naruto world.

If Naruto could distribute the Nine-Tails' Chakra across the entire Shinobi Alliance, Peter could naturally harness that exact same property to bestow divine blessings upon Tony and the rest of the crew.

"Will this power distribution hit an upper threshold, or cause physiological damage to our bodies?" Dr. Connors and Dr. Otto Octavius couldn't resist letting their scientific curiosity explode, eager to dissect the unique structure of this cosmic energy.

Peter pondered for a brief second before clarifying:

"This is purely a temporary buff. I can recall the power at any given moment. So as long as you don't run it continuously for days on end, it won't cause any physical strain."

"Besides... even if it did cause minor strain, it wouldn't matter~ Whether it's me or Gwen, a quick healing spell will instantly restore you to peak condition."

Everyone: "..."

Holy crap, talk about an all-inclusive after-sales service guarantee!

"Alright, no time to stand around daydreaming. Like I said before—it's time for all of you to embrace your ascension!"

With those words, Peter snapped his fingers.

SNAP!

In the very next instant, dozens of golden flames shot out from his body, plunging straight into every single member present.

The moment the flame merged into her frame, Gwen's body shuddered violently.

She felt a qualitative, core-level metamorphosis wash over her entire anatomy.

Her internal Spider-Sense was amplified by countless orders of magnitude—shifting from a passive danger-alert into an active, high-precision "divine pulse search"!

If she willed it, she could instantly pinpoint the precise physical location of anyone across the entire city of New York, gaining a clear sense of their exact physical condition!

With a single thought, Gwen tapped her web-shooters.

THWIP!

A brilliant, golden web erupted into the air.

Transcending standard physical concepts entirely, the webbing was fully upgraded into a solid energy construct, capable of shifting shape, solidifying, or re-routing mid-air according to Gwen's absolute mental command!

Noticing this, Felicia gave her own abilities a try. Letting out a soft, melodious vocal note, an exquisite set of golden dragon-scale robes manifested over her body. It wasn't just her—every single hero present was automatically clad in a dazzling set of golden armor forged from divine dragon scales!

Sif, Daisy, Natasha... One by one, everyone tested their upgraded powers, discovering that their baseline capabilities had been boosted to unheard-of heights!

Once the initial wave of excitement passed, Peter looked around at the crew with a confident smile:

"So then... feel confident enough to wipe out those green-skinned bastards now?"

"Is that even a question?!" Tony declared arrogantly.

"If I don't beat the literal crap out of that Gravik guy today, I'll assume he took an enema before showing up!"

"In that case... move out!"

"Destination: Chernobyl!"

As the minutes ticked by, global communication networks initiated a worldwide live broadcast under Peter's direct authorization.

Through satellite relays, every household across Earth equipped with a television or internet connection locked their gaze squarely onto the desolate grounds of Chernobyl.

Countless citizens spontaneously gathered out in the streets to watch the war that would decide the ultimate survival of human civilization.

In New York's Times Square, massive crowds packed the plazas before the giant LED displays. Public screens across London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, and Sydney were similarly swarmed by dense, breathless crowds.

Everyone held their breath—waiting for the heroes they had so deeply misunderstood just days ago to put an end to this threat.

"They're here!"

Above the sky of Chernobyl, a Quinjet upgraded by the Wheel of Fate cut through the clouds with a deafening roar, touching down smoothly onto the scorched, barren earth.

As the heavy ramp lowered, an iconic figure stepped out before the eyes of billions.

It was the Arbiter!

Stepping out right behind him in a synchronized formation were Ghost-Spider, Nightingale, Black Widow, Quake, Iron Man, and the rest of the heroes.

Fully accounted for, the team numbered just under fifty individuals.

Standing directly across from them, however, was a terrifying legion of over 2,700 Super Skrull soldiers mutated via gene fusion.

The numerical disparity was a horrifying 60 to 1.

The moment the global audience caught sight of this matchup, comment sections and social feeds worldwide exploded into sheer panic:

"How the hell are they supposed to fight this?! 60 to 1?!"

"The Arbiter is insanely strong, no doubt, but what about the rest?! How are they supposed to hold out against monsters that look that terrifying?!"

"Don't tell me the Arbiter is actually going to stay on the sidelines..."

"We're dead... humanity is completely finished..."

Gravik clearly noted the staggering gap in numbers as well.

He laughed.

A wild, hysterical laugh.

"Arbiter! I thought you'd at least drag the entire United Nations military over here with you! I didn't expect you to show up with such a pathetic handful of people!"

He crossed his arms, his tone dripping with condescending mockery:

"Did you honestly think this tiny group could handle my Super Skrull Army?!"

"Or do you just want to save face and commit suicide right in front of them?"

"If that's the case, out of respect for a formidable opponent, I can kindly cut the global satellite feed for a few minutes."

Facing Gravik's taunts, Peter simply picked at his ear with an expression of pure boredom:

"Hey green-skin, done with your little bedtime story?"

"If you're done talking, you can get ready to die now."

"WHAT?!" Gravik couldn't believe a human could still act this arrogant.

"What else?" Peter asked back with complete nonchalance:

"When are you going to realize that no matter how many stray mutts you gather, a dog is still just a dog?"

"YOU!" Gravik's face twisted in violent fury. Deciding to waste no more words, he roared:

"CHARGE! CRUSH THEM TO DUST!"
