"Rasengan: Uzuhiko?"
Solus's brows furrowed completely into a deep crease. In reality, he still didn't quite comprehend the meaning behind Peter's words.
However, he could distinctly perceive that sickening wave of vertigo churning inside his body.
His stomach was turning inside out, the world before his eyes was spinning frantically, and no matter how much effort he exerted, his hands and feet simply refused to obey his commands.
Even though the ground beneath him remained completely stationary, he currently felt exactly like a solitary skiff tossing and turning amidst violent, raging waves.
"Impossible... Old man as I am, I am the grandest of the Inheritors! How could a mere gravitational force leave me in such a pathetic state?"
Solus propped both hands against the ground, his ten fingers sinking deeply into the fractured asphalt road.
The veins across his entire body twisted frantically like a cluster of slender serpents, and every single block of muscle trembled incessantly due to excessive blood congestion. He struggled forcefully, attempting to drive his body to stand upright.
The first time, his upper body had barely risen half a foot when his left arm weirdly twisted half a turn, causing his entire person to collapse down pathetically once more. His face smashed against the pavement, fracturing the ground into a web of spider-like cracks.
The second time, he forcefully flipped his body over, attempting to leap up using a kip-up movement. But in the next second, the vertigo inside his mind suddenly intensified several-fold. The moment he rose, his entire frame tipped straight over sideways, turning a perfectly fine kip-up into a lazy donkey rolling on the ground.
The third time... Before he could even initiate a movement, Evil Peter suddenly lamented with a comment:
"What kind of thunderous movement is this? A maggot raving in a sea of feces?"
Barf~
Already dizzy and lightheaded, Solus felt his blood pressure surge violently upon hearing Peter's mockery. The moment his mind associated the image with those words, he instantly retched.
However, what he vomited out was not food residue, but rather chunks of dark red visceral fragments. The power of Rasengan: Uzuhiko was originally not to the extent of directly tearing Solus's internal organs to shreds.
But despite his body already being heavily amiss, Solus still insisted on struggling forcefully, which ultimately triggered this tragedy.
His internal organs were clearly already twisting along one direction, yet to forcefully stand up, Solus insisted on forcefully applying an entirely opposite force.
Once the two types of forces superimposed upon each other, the outcome was not mutual cancellation, but rather mutual destruction—due to exerting excessive force, he had actually blown up his own internal organs!
"Old man, I advise you not to waste your energy."
Peter floated in mid-air, his arms crossed over his chest, looking down at Solus with a gaze reserved for looking at dying prey.
"The cosmic energy inside your body isn't under your complete control to begin with, and now it has been churned into a mess of porridge by my gravitational field. The more you channel it, the more violent it becomes."
"The more violent it becomes, the faster the rotation speed of those gravitational forces I drove inside will be."
"The faster it is, the less capable you will be of standing up."
"This is a death loop, understand?"
Solus understood, but he was unwilling to accept this reality. He, Solus, the King of Totems who had survived for several millennia, an existence infinitely close to a deity—how could he lie on the ground like a dead dog in such a disgraceful manner, allowing his "food" to humiliate him?
It was exactly like how a human could never accept a dog suddenly running over to urinate on their head. Solus harbored the same thought at this moment. He, Solus, could die in battle, or die of old age, but he absolutely could not die in such a humiliating manner at the hands of his own food!
"Damned... Damned!"
Solus's eyes were blood-red. He abandoned the idea of standing up, turning instead to crawl flat on the ground, gathering energy exactly like a massive toad.
His logic was exceptionally simple: if he couldn't solve the problem, he would solve the person who brought the problem.
He prepared to utilize the energy within his body—which was sufficient to easily detonate a planet—to blast Peter to death, perishing together with him.
Doing this was always better than dying in such an aggrieved manner at the opponent's hands, wasn't it?
"You despicable insect, even if I die..."
Before his words could fully finish, a dark-golden silhouette had already surfaced before him.
Bang.
Peter delivered a swift kick straight across Solus's face, acting exactly as if he were kicking a football. This strike was simply too sudden; caught off guard for a moment, Solus unexpectedly bit off his own tongue.
His form spun continuously in the air, ultimately smashing heavily against the telekinetic protective shield, sliding down inch by inch like a dead dog. Near-simultaneously with the moment he hit the ground, Peter also appeared before him in a flash.
He raised his foot, stepping heavily on Solus's head, looking down from a high vantage point at this once-insufferable head of the Inheritor family:
"Despicable?"
"Your family of Inheritors has hunted down how many Spider-Totems over the span of thousands of years? Slaughtered the Peter Parkers of how many universes?"
"When you were recklessly plundering the strength of others, why didn't you consider these two words?"
"Now that you're crawling on the ground like a dog, you suddenly remember to accuse others of being despicable?"
As he spoke, Peter ground his foot across Solus's face a couple of times. The pure cosmic energy within his body instantly permeated into Solus's form through this physical contact. Once the two completely identical sources of energy met, they immediately triggered a violent resonance.
The form that had originally bulged like a massive toad first deflated like a punctured ball. Subsequently, various parts across his entire body began to fracture inch by inch amidst this runaway energy riot.
"Ahhhhhh——"
Solus let out a miserable shriek that fundamentally didn't sound like it could be produced by a human. Purple-black blood seeped simultaneously from his eyes, nostrils, and mouth.
Outside the protective shield, everyone held their breath. The Spider Army couldn't resist covering their mouths, their eyes turning red—that wasn't sympathy, but rather because the terror they had suppressed for far too long had finally located an outlet for release.
This monster, this predator who treated them as food and hunted them across various universes, had finally encountered his retribution!
Peter initially found looking at his current state quite satisfying. But as he continued to watch, he perceived that something was amiss.
Even though Solus's body had already broken down to a degree that was simply too painful to look at directly—his limbs distorted, and the surface of his skin covered in purple-black fractures like a piece of porcelain about to shatter—yet, bizarrely, this fracture-ridden porcelain piece simply refused to shatter.
Those terrifying injuries were actually recovering rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye with every passing second.
Realizing this point, Peter delivered another kick to Solus's head. This kick nearly caused his head to explode.
Yet, even with this head on the verge of exploding, less than a few seconds passed before it returned to its original state.
Tsk~
Peter's brows couldn't help but furrow. He discovered that his ordinary offenses genuinely seemed unable to do anything to this fellow.
His regeneration speed was too fast, and on top of that, although the cosmic energy was no longer under his control, it was still passively providing him with protection. This caused Peter's attacks to be fundamentally insufficient to inflict fatal damage upon him.
"High defense and a thick health bar, is it?"
Peter stepped back a pace, looking at this old vampire on the ground who, despite being beaten into a human torso, was still stubbornly repairing himself. A sliver of coldness flickered through the depths of his eyes.
Then if I give you a straight punch of true damage, how exactly will you face it, Your Excellency?
