Chapter 45: 1.3 Million Volts and the Copycat

"I'll be taking those now," Todoroki said, his voice cold and absolute.

Zoro smirked, a monstrous pressure radiating from his body as he drew both blades. "Many have said that. All of them are currently tasting the dirt. You want to be next, Half-and-Half?"

Before the clash could begin, the battlefield shifted once again.

A sudden, frustrated scream echoed from across the field. Minoru Mineta frantically patted his forehead, his eyes wide with panic. "It's gone! Our headband is completely gone! We didn't even notice!"

During the absolute chaos of their failed ambush, someone had expertly snatched their points without them feeling a thing.

"We have nothing left to lose!" Mineta yelled, tears streaming down his face. "Shoji! Full attack mode!"

Mezo Shoji didn't hesitate. He opened his massive web of arms, transforming into a charging tank. He wasn't the only one. Seeing the two top teams facing off, several other desperate teams decided to make one final, reckless push, charging toward Team Roronoa and Team Todoroki from all sides.

"We're going to steal the points from both of these teams with everything we've got!" Mineta screamed, preparing a massive handful of his sticky spheres.

Midoriya gritted his teeth, glancing around. "Zoro-kun, we're surrounded again! Shoji's team and three others are closing in fast!"

"Ignore the extras," Zoro said calmly, his eyes locked dead onto Todoroki. "Keep your eyes on the ice brat."

Todoroki watched the incoming swarm of teams with chilling indifference. He leaned slightly forward. "Iida, forward. Yaoyorozu, prepare the defense and the grounding."

"Understood!" Momo Yaoyorozu quickly began creating a massive, thick insulation sheet from her skin.

Todoroki then glanced at the blonde boy on his left. "Kaminari, you—"

"I know exactly what I need to do!" Kaminari grinned, cutting Todoroki off. Sparks of intense golden electricity began to aggressively crackle around his body, the air itself popping with static.

On the other side, Zoro's eyes widened slightly. His Observation Haki picked up a terrifying, overwhelming spike of energy. The hairs on his arms stood up. It wasn't just a simple attack; it was an area-of-effect nuke.

"Get in the air!" Zoro roared. "Hatsume, max output! Midoriya, jump! NOW!"

"Yaoyorozu! Make sure we're completely covered!" Kaminari shouted.

As Momo threw the heavy insulation sheet over her entire team, hiding them from the blast, Kaminari unleashed his full power.

"INDISCRIMINATE SHOCK: 1.3 MILLION VOLTS!"

A blinding, deafening dome of golden lightning exploded outward. The electricity aggressively sought out anything grounded. Shoji, Mineta, Tsuyu, and the other charging teams were instantly caught in the massive blast, screaming as the high-voltage shock violently paralyzed their muscles.

But Team Roronoa wasn't on the ground. Thanks to Zoro's split-second warning, Midoriya's leg strength, and Hatsume's hover soles, they were suspended in the air, completely avoiding the grounded electrical current.

The moment the lightning faded, Todoroki threw the insulation sheet off. He didn't waste a single second. Before the paralyzed teams could even collapse to the ground, Todoroki slammed his right hand onto the dirt. A thick, relentless wave of ice shot forward, instantly freezing the legs of every single shocked student, completely immobilizing them.

Up in the commentator booth, Eraserhead leaned closer to the microphone. "That was an excellent strategy. By shocking the opponents first, Todoroki stopped their movements completely. He avoided the mistake he made in the obstacle course, where many students simply dodged his ice."

Present Mic grinned widely, pointing at his co-host. "Eraserhead! That was some actual, high-quality commentary!"

Down on the field, Hatsume's boots hissed as Team Roronoa landed safely, completely untouched by the combo. But before they could even adjust their footing, Todoroki was already on them.

"Don't let them breathe, Iida!" Todoroki commanded.

Team Todoroki relentlessly pursued Team Roronoa. Midoriya tried to direct their movements to escape, but Todoroki systematically raised massive pillars of ice, cutting off their escape routes one by one.

Finally, Midoriya's back hit something solid. He looked behind him to see a towering, unbreakable wall of solid ice. They were completely cornered. No escape. No room to run.

Todoroki stared them down, the mist rolling off his right side. It was a dead end.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the arena, an entirely different kind of storm was raging.

"Give them back, you damn extra!" Katsuki Bakugo roared, his palms popping with lethal explosions as his team charged directly at Neito Monoma.

Monoma just smiled, a condescending, arrogant smirk. "You really are hot-headed, aren't you?"

"Die!" Bakugo propelled himself forward off Kirishima's shoulders, throwing a massive right hook aimed directly at Monoma's face.

But Monoma smoothly dodged the explosive punch. In a fluid, incredibly fast motion, Monoma raised his own hand, grabbed Bakugo's face, and unleashed a massive explosion right in Bakugo's eyes.

BOOM!

Bakugo was thrown backward, stunned. During the brief clash, Monoma had casually brushed his fingers against Kirishima's spiky red hair.

"What the...?!" Bakugo growled, landing back on Kirishima's shoulders, smoke rising from his face. "That was my Quirk!"

"He's totally wide open!" Kirishima yelled, charging forward to punch Monoma himself.

Bakugo, enraged, launched another explosive strike. But this time, Monoma raised his arm to block. In a flash, Monoma's entire arm hardened into jagged, impenetrable rock. The explosion washed over the hardened skin, doing absolutely no damage.

Kirishima's jaw dropped in absolute shock. "What?! My Quirk?!"

"He copied it," Bakugo growled, his red eyes burning with unprecedented fury.

Monoma chuckled, inspecting his hardened arm. "That's right. It's an amazing Quirk, isn't it? Better than yours, anyway. Even an idiot could figure it out, huh?"

Bakugo's rage hit an absolute boiling point. "I'LL KILL YOU!"

He prepared to launch a devastating attack, but suddenly, Kirishima felt his leg lock in place. Kojiro Bondo, a massive student from Class 1-B with a dispenser-like head, had sprayed a thick, fast-drying glue all over Kirishima's feet, sticking him firmly to the ground.

"Let's go," Monoma smiled, his team quickly retreating into the crowd. "We've wasted enough time with the trash."

"Get back here!" Bakugo screamed, trying to blast himself forward, but Kirishima couldn't move.

"Don't worry, Bakugo! I've got this!" Mina Ashido shouted. She quickly rubbed her hands together, producing a highly corrosive acid. She carefully sprayed it onto the hardened glue, rapidly melting the adhesive away and freeing Kirishima's legs.

"Go, Kirishima!" Mina yelled.

"We're getting our points back!" Kirishima roared, charging forward again.

Suddenly, the massive speakers around the stadium crackled to life.

"ONLY ONE MINUTE LEFT!" Present Mic's voice echoed over the chaotic battlefield, sending a spike of pure adrenaline through every single student. "THE CLOCK IS TICKING! WHO WILL SURVIVE THE FINAL SIXTY SECONDS?!"

Bakugo's team charged after Monoma with absolute murderous intent, leaving a trail of explosions in their wake.

Meanwhile, the temperature at the center of the arena plummeted to absolute zero.

Trapped against a towering, unscalable wall of solid ice, Team Roronoa had nowhere left to run. Todoroki slowly exhaled a cloud of freezing breath, his dual-colored eyes locking onto Zoro with a terrifying, absolute resolve. The air itself felt heavy, trembling under the weight of the impending clash.

"This is it, Midoriya," Zoro's low, dangerous voice cut through the freezing wind. He lowered his stance, crossing the Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu tightly in front of his chest. A monstrous, overwhelming aura erupted from the swordsman, violently pushing back the cold.

The sixty-second timer began to tick down. The Ice Prince and the Fierce Swordsman were about to collide
