Chapter 1 - Ch. 1 Transmigration, System Activation!

"Look! It's them."

"Turns out monsters eat the same food we do."

"Then how did they become monsters?"

"No clue. Maybe you should ask them yourself?"

...

In the cafeteria, people passing by or sitting in various corners couldn't help glancing toward the table in the northeast corner. Whispers flew back and forth, fingers pointed, and gazes lingered—

like they were watching some kind of comedy show.

"I'm so sick of these idiots!"

A curly-haired blonde teenager slammed the table and shot a vicious glare around him, his voice low but sharp.

"Sean, you should be used to it by now."

Across from him, a girl with long black hair and a cicada-wing tattoo on her arm looked far more composed.

"I don't think I ever will," Sean muttered. He turned to the blonde girl next to him. "Raven, maybe you could talk to Charles. Get him to alter a bit of these morons' memories so we don't have to be gawked at like zoo animals every single day."

Raven didn't reply. Instead, she smiled at the young boy beside her.

"I still think the better solution is for Leon to just chuck them all out one by one. Right, Leon?"

Don't be fooled by his gentle features or scholarly vibe—similar to Hank's, even. At first glance, you might think he was the school's top honor student.

But everyone at the table knew exactly what kind of power Leon was hiding inside that unassuming frame.

He could fire lasers from his fingers, move at extremely high speed, and turn into light particles.

Tossing out a couple of 200-pound guys wouldn't even take five seconds.

"Leon?"

Leon didn't respond. He seemed lost in thought, so Raven nudged his arm.

"Leon?"

Hearing his name jolted him slightly.

Right… that's who I am now.

That's right.

This "Leon" wasn't originally from this world. He was a transmigrator from Earth.

Back in his previous life, Leon was very successful. He was one of the youngest billionaires and the CEO of a major tech company.

And with money came responsibility. He often donated to orphanages and hospitals. Helping children and the elderly had become his hobby.

Despite his kind personality, he was also a massive playboy, like Tony. Leon had many relationships during his life.

His only regret might have been neglecting his lover and not focusing on her.

Then, out of nowhere, on his way home, a void swallowed him. There, he found a massive cube made of energy. His instincts told him to touch it—and he did.

The next time he opened his eyes, he was already in another world, in another person's body.

To be honest, he panicked at first.

Because this world had mutants… it had Captain America… it had Howard Stark!

Sure, Captain America was already "dead" by now, but that didn't stop him from being a national icon.

In short, this was a world of Celestials, dimensional demon gods, and all sorts of insane aliens—where catastrophic, city- or planet-level disasters could break out at any moment.

Living as an ordinary person in a place like this? One wrong step and you're cannon fodder—gone without a trace.

Especially in New York.

Luckily, like so many transmigrators before him, Leon had arrived with a golden finger of his own.

With a thought, a translucent status screen popped up in front of Leon's eyes—visible only to him.

Back then, Leon had just woken up when he heard a notification from the system.

[Ding! Infinite Sign-in System is activating.]

[1%] [33%]

[88%]

[100%]

[Ding! Infinite Sign-in System is active.]

"What the…?" Leon was confused at first, but he quickly recalled what had happened.

"Fuck… I died, didn't I?"

Leon remembered falling into the void and touching the energy cube.

He tried to calm down. First, he didn't know where he was or what this system was.

"Hey, system! What are you?"

[Ding! Host, I am the Infinite Sign-in System that will help you fully enjoy and achieve your every dream.]

[Host can sign in on the first of every month to receive various rewards.]

[Rewards are classified from 1st Order to 7th Order, and they can be anything from anime universes to the MCU.]

"Oh my god…"

Leon gasped. He had read novels where the main character transmigrates and gets a golden finger—but he never thought he would become one himself.

"So, system… can I sign in now?" Leon asked.

[Ding! Yes, Host. You can sign in right now.]

[Ding! Host also has a newbie package.]

Leon was thrilled to find that not only could he sign in, but he also had a newbie package.

"Sign in and open the newbie package."

[Ding! Signing in… Obtained 2nd Order item: Light-Light Fruit.]

[Opening newbie package… Obtained 4th Order bloodline: Kryptonian Bloodline.]

Leon's breath hitched.

"Is this the same Kryptonian bloodline from DC and the Light Fruit from One Piece?"

[Ding! Yes, Host. Do you want to fuse them? Note: Bloodline fusion will be painful.]

"Yes."

As soon as he said that, Leon felt a sharp sting in his spine, which quickly turned into immense pain. He ground his teeth.

1 minute… 2 minutes… 5 minutes… 9 minutes…

After enduring for nine minutes, Leon passed out.

When he woke up, he felt like the world had completely changed. It was as if he had been blind before.

"By the way, System… where are we right now?" Leon asked, since he still didn't know where he was.

[Ding! Does the Host want to unseal the memories of this body?]

"Hmm… will it affect me in any way?"

[No.]

"Okay."

A flood of memories rushed in. Leon felt a slight headache. These memories contained many important details—about his family, his crush, and more importantly, about this world.

After stabilizing his mind, Leon felt another wave of realization.

"Mutants, Captain America, and Howard Stark… so I really am in Marvel, huh?"

It seemed this body's parents had died in a house explosion caused by a gas leak. Leon survived only because he had awakened powerful abilities—abilities he himself didn't fully understand.

After losing everything, the original Leon had fallen into deep depression. Eventually, he suffered a heart attack and died.

When Leon came to his senses, he couldn't help but feel that the previous owner of this body was truly pitiful.

"I mean… he survived everyone he loved…"

"Sigh…"

Leon let out a long breath and took a deep inhale.

"Let's go home first."

To be continued…
