I begin to run down the corridor while still keeping a close eye on the walls around us.
"Don't get too far ahead of us Dante!" Lia shouts.
"I won't!" I shout back while running.
I reach the entrance to the room within a few moments and I can see the woman from before standing in the center of the room. She is definitely the keeper of this artifact or something, or maybe it has ties to her in other ways.
She just slightly turns her head to see me standing in the doorway.
Her purple eyes are just staring back at me as I wait for the girls to catch up to me, but she doesn't seem to be worried. It feels as if it is obvious that I'm not a threat to her.
"Have you come for the artifact as well?" She asks softly, still not fully looking in my direction.
"It would help with my journey, but I'm not willing to die to grab it," I answer with a calm tone.
She turns around the rest of the way with a small smile on her face.
