Ficool

Chapter 4 - CHAPTER THREE.

Screams filled the hall.

"MONSTER!!"

"RUN!!"

"Call the Hunters!!"

The walls had already collapsed.

Dust choked the air.

And from within the разрушed space…

It stepped forward.

A creature that shouldn't exist.

Its body flickered—half real, half broken.

Like it was phasing between worlds.

[Unregistered Entity]

[Threat Level: Unmeasurable]

The examiners froze.

"Why isn't the System identifying it?!"

"This isn't possible!"

Of course it wasn't.

Because—

…Is that also a "bug"?

The creature's head snapped toward me again.

It smiled.

「同じだな.」

We're the same.

A chill ran down my spine.

"…It spoke?!"

"Monsters don't talk!"

But I didn't move.

Couldn't.

No—

I chose not to.

Because for the first time in my life…

I wasn't the weakest one in the room.

The creature lunged.

Too fast.

It appeared right in front of a student—

STOP—!!

Too late.

Or at least…

That's what should have happened.

CRACK.

The sound echoed.

Not from the monster.

From reality itself.

The space between them shattered.

Like invisible glass breaking.

Everything slowed.

Distorted.

Glitch.

The world obeyed.

The monster's claw froze mid-air.

Not stopped—

denied.

That… doesn't belong there.

I stepped forward.

Every movement felt wrong.

Like I was forcing the world to accept me.

Or maybe—

Breaking it until it did.

The monster growled.

Its body flickered violently.

「お前…何者だ…」

What… are you…?

I tilted my head slightly.

「さあな.」

Who knows.

Then—

I reached out.

And touched it.

Silence.

For one second—

Nothing happened.

Then—

The monster screamed.

GRAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Its body twisted.

Corrupted.

Breaking apart into fragments of light and static.

Like a corrupted file being deleted.

[Interference Successful]

[Destroying target structure]

Everyone stared.

Frozen.

"…What… did he just do?"

The monster tried to regenerate—

But failed.

Its body glitched violently.

Repeating the same movement.

Again.

Again.

Again.

It's over.

I clenched my hand.

CRACK.

The monster shattered.

Gone.

Silence fell over the hall.

Complete.

Absolute.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

Because what they just witnessed—

Was impossible.

A boy with no system…

Killed something the system couldn't even measure.

Slowly—

All eyes turned to me.

Fear.

Confusion.

Something else.

Recognition.

Who… is he…?

The examiner stepped back unconsciously.

"…You…"

His voice trembled.

"…What are you?"

I looked at my hand.

The air around it still cracked faintly.

Unstable.

Broken.

Then I answered.

Quietly.

…A bug.

But far above—

Beyond the sky—

Beyond the system—

Something reacted.

A massive screen flickered into existence.

Invisible to everyone.

Except…

Something else.

[Anomaly Detected]

[External Entity Activity Confirmed]

Pause.

Then—

[Eradication Protocol Initiated]

Back in the hall—

I smiled slightly.

Without knowing—

The entire world…

Had just marked me as its enemy.
