"Master, are we leaving now?" Having gained a physical body, Echidna appeared very happy. Although there wasn't much inconvenience as a spirit body, having a physical body provided a different kind of grounded feeling.
"Yes," Fujino nodded, then took Echidna's hand, intending to use Heavenly Movement to leave. But then she thought of something and asked Echidna: "This Sanctuary is useless to you now, right?"
"Master, do you want to destroy the Sanctuary?" Echidna had already guessed as much and shook her head, saying: "As long as Master is happy, please do as you wish."
The Sanctuary only existed for Echidna to ensure she wouldn't dissipate while she was still a spirit body. Now that she had a physical body, the Sanctuary held no value for her; it didn't matter if it was destroyed. Being known as a Witch, even if Echidna was only interested in knowledge, she was still a Witch. As long as something didn't have a negative impact on her or harm her direct interests, she maintained an indifferent attitude.
"Okay." As she spoke, the black-blue Rasengan from before appeared in Fujino's hand. Destroying the Sanctuary didn't have any special meaning for Fujino; she simply wanted to do it.
The Rasengan in Fujino's hand grew larger and larger, beginning to expand at a terrifying speed. Fujino took Echidna's hand and flew into the sky. By now, the size of the Rasengan was comparable to a small village, blocking out the faint light in the Sanctuary.
"What's going on?" A guardian in the Sanctuary looked up in horror at the energy sphere in the sky that blocked the sunlight and emitted a terrifying aura.
More and more guardians of the Sanctuary noticed the anomaly in the sky. The Rasengan, which was still growing and emitting a terrifying aura, brought them immense pressure. However, having guarded the Sanctuary for many years, these people had decent mental fortitude; though they Felt fear, they didn't fall into total chaos.
"What on earth is that?" In the crowd, a pink-haired spirit girl, who had most of her body wrapped in a wide robe, looked in shock at the Rasengan that was growing larger under control, her forehead already covered in sweat.
The pressure brought by the Rasengan was simply too great, and this pressure increased as the volume of the Rasengan grew.
"I almost forgot that you were also in the Sanctuary."
Fujino appeared behind the pink-haired spirit girl. The unfamiliar voice coming from behind made the terrified girl, who was already on high alert, look back immediately. It was a girl she had never seen before; this strange girl possessed an irresistible charm. With just one look, the spirit girl Felt a sense of trance, as if she wanted to surrender herself.
Biting the tip of her tongue, the spirit girl tried to use pain to clear her head, but it was of no use.
Furthermore, the spirit girl discovered a strange thing: although this unfamiliar girl was clearly right in front of her, the nearby companions didn't seem to notice her existence at all. It was as if even she herself was being ignored by her companions.
Is it some kind of Divine Protection that masks one's presence? This thought appeared in the girl's mind.
"Ryuzu Meyer, right?" Fujino stated the name of the spirit girl before her with a leisurely expression.
Ryuzu Meyer showed a look of surprise. How could the person in front of her know her name? Who was she?
Ryuzu Meyer was full of doubts, and just as she was about to do something, she suddenly saw Fujino reveal a mysterious smile.
A bad premonition suddenly surged in Ryuzu Meyer's heart. She suddenly thought of the terrifying energy sphere above, her eyes widening slightly as she looked up. In Ryuzu Meyer's sight, that gargantuan energy sphere began to descend toward the Sanctuary.
Wait! That's Lady Echidna!
As the energy sphere fell, Ryuzu Meyer also saw Echidna floating in the air behind it, her shock beyond description.
