The morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of the Western-style mansion, filling the living room with warmth. The girls gathered around the sofa, where the green-haired little girl—Cthulhu—sat quietly, holding Sakura's hand while watching a handheld game console with intense curiosity.
"Beach… beach…" Aika repeated excitedly, bouncing slightly on her heels. "When are we going?"
"Soon," Fujino replied with a smile. "But first we need preparations. Swimsuits, sunscreen, umbrellas—everything."
Aoko crossed her arms. "You're taking this awfully seriously."
"Of course!" Fujino said firmly. "If we're going, we're doing it right."
Cthulhu tilted her head. "Sea?"
"Yes," Fujino nodded, kneeling in front of her. "A very big sea. Lots of water."
Cthulhu's golden eyes brightened slightly. "Go."
Touko adjusted her glasses. "Before that, we should confirm the location. A crowded beach would be… inconvenient."
"Private coastline?" Jibril suggested immediately.
Fujino snapped her fingers. "Good idea. I'll use the system to search for a suitable place."
A faint shimmer appeared in her vision as she browsed through available options. After a moment, she smiled.
"Found one. A small island resort, uninhabited right now. Perfect."
"Then it's settled," Scáthach said calmly.
Meanwhile, Tamamo-no-Mae leaned closer to Fujino. "We should also bring food. A beach party without proper snacks is unacceptable."
Tamamo Cat raised both hands. "Barbecue! Meow!"
The living room quickly filled with chatter as everyone began discussing plans. Cthulhu, still holding Sakura's hand, quietly listened—though her attention occasionally drifted toward Fujino, as if making sure she wouldn't disappear again.
