Damian didn't blink.
"…They don't walk alone."
"…They barely walk." Amelia replied.

A pause.
"…No unsupervised movement."
"…No disappearing acts."
"…No entering my office."
Ryan blinked.
Matteo smiled.
Lucas tried not to laugh.
Reactions Begin
"…So…"
Lucas started carefully.
"…You're placing them under security protocol?"
"…Yes."
"…They're babies."
"…They're fast." Damian replied.
Silence.
"…He's not wrong." Ethan said calmly.
"…Thank you."
"…But this is still funny."
Laughter broke out.
Even Elara couldn't hold it.
"…You're serious?"

Seraphina's Opinion
"…I support daddy."
Everyone turned.
"…Of course you do." Elara sighed.
"…They escaped."
"…They explored." Amelia corrected gently.
"…Same thing." Seraphina replied confidently.
Ryan clapped suddenly.
Matteo joined him.
"…See?" Seraphina pointed.

The Babies React
As if they understood—
Ryan slowly slid out of Elara's arms.
Matteo followed.
Both landed on their feet.

Damian said immediately.

Ryan sped up.
Matteo followed.

The hallway.
Damian moved instantly.

He caught Ryan mid-step.
Lucas caught Matteo at the same time.

Caught Again
Ryan looked up at Damian.
"…Dada."
And clapped.
Like this was all part of the plan.
Matteo laughed loudly in Lucas's arms.
"…They're mocking us." Lucas said.
"…They are." Ethan nodded calmly.
Damian stared at Ryan.
Then said quietly:
"…You see?"
"…What?" Elara asked.
"…No control."
"…They're babies."
"…Exactly."
Elara Steps In
Elara walked closer.
Placed her hand gently on Damian's arm.
"…You can't control everything."
A pause.
Damian looked at her.
"…I can try."
"…Not with them."
Ryan reached for Elara.
Matteo did the same with Isabella.
Both instantly calmer in their mothers' arms.
"…See?" Elara smiled softly.
"…They don't need control."
"…They need us."
Silence.
Damian exhaled slowly.
"…Fine."
Everyone paused.
"…The rule stays."
Groans filled the room.
"…But…"
A pause.
"…Supervised freedom."
Final Chaos & Laughter
"…That makes no sense." Lucas said.
"…It does to him." Ethan replied.
"…It means we suffer." Amelia added, laughing.
Seraphina raised her hand.
"…I volunteer to supervise."
"…Denied." Damian said immediately.
"…Rude."
Ryan clapped again.
Matteo laughed.
Both completely happy.
Completely unaware…
That they had just caused a full policy change in the house.
