Part 2: A Day of Sweet Nothing
Some days aren't meant to be planned.
They just… happen.
Slow.
Easy.
Filled with small moments that somehow become everything.
A Calm Afternoon at Home
The mansion had settled again.
No decorations.
No loud music.
Just quiet comfort.
Elara sat in the living room—
A soft smile on her lips as Seraphina played on the carpet.
"…No running near the table."
"…I'm not running."
Seraphina replied—
While clearly running.
Elara sighed softly.
"…You got that from him."
She muttered.
"…I heard that."
Damian's voice came from behind.
He walked in—
Calm.
Composed.
"…You were talking about yourself, right?"
Elara smiled.
"…Of course."
He didn't believe her.
But he let it slide.
Everyone Gathers
Soon—
Everyone was in the dining area.
Ethan beside Amelia.
Luca already eating before anyone else sat.
"…You couldn't wait?"
Ethan asked.
"…I've been waiting since morning."
"…For food?"
"…For life."
Amelia laughed softly.
"…He's dramatic."
"…He's hungry."
Ethan corrected.
"…Both."
The Unexpected Announcement
Then suddenly—
Luca dropped his fork.
"…I'm getting married."
Silence.
Every head turned to him.
Damian just stared.
Seraphina blinked.
"…You are joking, right?"
"…I wish I was."
Luca said.
Elara's brows lifted slightly.
Amelia leaned forward.
Ethan froze mid-bite.
"…That's good."
Damian said calmly.
"…Yeah…"
Luca scratched his head.
"…She just gave me a son yesterday night."
Silence.
Then—
Something shifted.
Damian's expression changed.
His eyes turned cold.
Sharp.
Elara noticed immediately.
"…Damian."
She called softly.
But he didn't respond.
His gaze stayed on Luca.
"…You know the code."
His voice was low.
"…And you know the consequence."
"…Why didn't you tell me?"
The room fell silent again.
Luca raised his hands slightly.
"…Yeah, I know… but come on, man—"
"…She never told me she was pregnant."
"…She hid it."
"…I only got to know yesterday."
"…And the DNA test says positive."
"…She was scared I wouldn't accept the baby…"
His voice softened slightly.
"…But she still told me."
A pause.
Damian stared at him for a moment longer.
Then—
"…You marry her."
Just like that.
His expression returned to normal.
Luca blinked.
"…Yeah."
"…I will."
Seraphina leaned forward immediately.
"…What's the gender? Is it a boy or a girl?"
"…A boy."
Luca replied.
A smile spread across the table.
Everyone—
Except Damian.
A Shift Into Care, Not Fear
Luca hesitated slightly.
"…Won't she be a threat… when others find out I broke the code?"
This time—
Damian didn't react with anger.
He leaned back slightly.
Calm.
Thinking.
"…Then you protect her."
His voice steady now.
"…Bring her closer."
"…One of the houses inside the villa."
"…Stay with her."
Luca nodded slowly.
"…Sure… thank you, boss."
His eyes were sincere now.
Grateful.
Damian nodded once.
"…That's enough."
"…She'll be safe."
"…And if anything happens—"
A small pause.
"…I take responsibility."
That line settled heavily.
Not fear—
But assurance.
Luca nodded again.
"…I understand."
Back to Warmth Again
Damian didn't turn—
But he knew.
Everyone was staring at him.
Watching.
"…Eat."
He said simply.
"…And stop staring."
Immediately—
Everyone looked down.
And just like that—
The moment softened again.
Soft Teasing Returns
"…So…"
Amelia spoke slowly.
"…You're a father now?"
"…Apparently."
Luca replied.
"…Do you even know how to carry a baby?"
"…It can't be that hard."
Ethan looked at him.
"…Don't drop it."
"…That's your advice?"
"…It's important."
Elara laughed softly.
Seraphina clapped her hands.
"…I want to see the baby!"
"…You will."
Luca smiled.
"…But not if your father keeps staring at me like that."
Everyone laughed again.
Even Damian…
Just slightly.
End Scene — Love in Every Form
Love isn't always perfect.
Sometimes it's unexpected.
Sometimes it comes with surprises.
With laughter.
With responsibility.
And sometimes—
It shows up as a child you didn't plan for…
But choose anyway.
And in this family—
That choice?
It meant everything.
To be continued…
