Chapter 38 - The Fall of Lorenzo

Marco and his gangs jaws dropped in shock.

Don Alessandro looked at Marco and his associates

"Ryan I need you to choose a punishment for these rats''

" I will declare a deserving punishment for them after I end lorenzo''

Ryan said his face boring no expression. Don Alessandro knew at this point no one could stop him.

The night was silent.

Too silent.

Ryan stepped into Lorenzo's territory, his footsteps echoing faintly against the empty ground.

The air felt wrong.

Heavy.

Like the darkness itself was watching him.

For weeks, he had trained under Don Alessandro.

Endless drills.

Relentless pain.

Pushing his body beyond its limits.

Tonight—

It all came down to this.

A figure emerged from the shadows.

Tall.

Broad.

Imposing.

Lorenzo.

A cruel smile stretched across his face.

"So…" he said slowly, his voice dripping with amusement,

"you finally came."

Ryan didn't stop walking.

"I came for you."

Lorenzo chuckled, shaking his head.

"Kid… do you even know who you're facing?"

Ryan's eyes hardened.

"This ends tonight."

For a moment—

Silence.

Then—

Lorenzo laughed.

Dark.

Mocking.

"Arrogant."

A beat.

"You want to die fighting?"

Ryan moved first.

He shot forward like a bullet.

Fast.

Explosive.

No hesitation.

The fight erupted.

Fists collided.

A sharp crack echoed through the night.

Ryan's punch landed first—

But Lorenzo didn't fall.

He smiled.

And struck back.

Hard.

Ryan staggered—

But recovered instantly.

No fear.

No retreat.

Blow after blow.

Kick after kick.

The air filled with the sound of impact.

Flesh.

Bone.

Force.

Ryan fought like a storm.

Wild—

But controlled.

Every movement precise.

Every strike intentional.

Everything Don Alessandro had taught him—

He used it.

Lorenzo was powerful.

Years of experience behind every move.

Ruthless.

Merciless.

But Ryan—

Was faster.

A sharp strike hit Lorenzo's jaw.

His head snapped back.

For the first time—

He stumbled.

Ryan saw it.

And didn't hesitate.

He pressed forward.

Relentless.

Unstoppable.

Punch.

Elbow.

Knee.

Another strike—

Then another.

Lorenzo tried to recover—

But Ryan gave him no space.

No time.

No mercy.

A final blow landed.

Lorenzo crashed to the ground.

Ryan stood over him.

Breathing hard.

Chest rising and falling.

Eyes cold.

It should've been over.

But it wasn't.

A flash of steel.

Too fast—

Lorenzo slashed.

The blade cut across Ryan's arm.

Pain burned through him instantly.

Hot.

Sharp.

Blinding.

Ryan stepped back—

Just for a second.

That was all Lorenzo needed.

He lunged.

Ryan reacted.

Faster.

He grabbed Lorenzo's wrist mid-strike.

Twisted.

Forced him down.

Lorenzo hit the ground hard.

A grunt escaped him.

Ryan pinned him.

Firm.

Unmovable.

The blade pressed against Lorenzo's chest.

Right over his heart.

"It's over," Ryan said.

His voice was calm.

Cold.

Certain.

Lorenzo spat blood, a faint laugh escaping him.

"You think… this ends anything?"

Ryan didn't answer.

He pulled the trigger.

The gunshot shattered the silence.

Echoing into the night.

Final.

Lorenzo's body went still.

Ryan stayed there for a moment.

Breathing.

Letting the reality settle.

Then—

He stood.

Wiped the blood from his face.

And turned away.

No celebration.

No hesitation.

Just silence.

He walked back to his car.

Got in.

And drove off into the night.

But the night wasn't done with him.

Ahead—

Figures emerged.

Shadows turning into men.

Armed.

Waiting.

Lorenzo's soldiers.

Ryan slowed the car.

Stopped.

Stepped out.

No words.

They attacked.

Ryan moved.

Fast.

Deadly.

A punch.

A blade.

A dodge.

A counter.

One man dropped.

Then another.

Then another.

Ryan became something else.

Not just a fighter—

A force.

He wasted no movement.

No energy.

Each strike ended something.

Each motion calculated.

Efficient.

Lethal.

Minutes later—

Silence returned.

Bodies lay scattered.

The ground stained dark.

Ryan stood alone.

Again.

"I defeated your armies…" he muttered under his breath.

His voice low.

Cold.

"…what do you say about that?"

No answer came.

Only silence.

Ryan got back into his car.

Started the engine.

And drove off—

Back to Don Alessandro.
