Caleb's POV
Mason towers over Stella as blood streams from her nose. I feel Riley's body go rigid against mine, and when she tries to pull away, I hold her tighter.
"What the hell do you think you're doing dancing with her?" Stella's voice cuts through the music like a blade, sharp and accusatory as she glares at me.
I let out an irritated breath. "Mason, get her out of here." The words come out flat, dismissive. My attention shifts down to Riley, whose face has gone pale with terror. That expression tells me everything I need to know about who hurt her earlier. Dad still refuses to let me handle Stella until Riley confirms what happened, but this look on her face is confirmation enough for me.
"Riley, are you okay?" The question comes out more concerned than I intended. Her terrified expression makes my chest tighten with worry.
