Chapter 213 - Chapter 213

Spinoff 1-2: Her Secret (2)

Cheolmin’s mouth slowly widened.

My bad? My baaad?

Enraged, Cheolmin was about to snap out at him, but Daesu did not give him a chance to and turned around to step out of the cafeteria.

Watching Daesu casually walk away like a fool trembling, Cheolmin soon flinched when he noticed eyes on him.

All the younger girls including Seol from 2020 admission were looking at him making a fool of himself.

The smell was creeping up from his clothes where it got smothered with food all of a sudden.

How was he supposed to go to a cafe for a strawberry smoothie with a pretty girl in a state like this?

“You, you…”

Cheolmin bit his lips with a reddened face and stomped his way out of the cafeteria.

The lecture room was bustling with what happened in the student cafeteria during lunch. The girls surrounded Seol as they were busy with chitchat.

“Ha Daesu was meaning to help you out, right Seol?”

“Whoa, honestly, I felt so refreshed just looking at what he did.”

“To be honest, he is a crazy guy but his looks are innocent. He is good looking after all. I almost had butterflies for a moment.”

“Aw come on. Calm down. You are going to trigger Ha Daesu’s ego again.”

Listening to the girls talking, Seol recalled Daesu back in the cafeteria.

‘He was trying to help, right?’

Though Daesu had all kinds of bad nicknames added to him such as Mr. Stuck Up or Mr. Overinflated Ego, he wasn’t the kind to pick fights with others for no reason.

So the act of suddenly shoving Cheolmin away and splashing food on him must have definitely been meant to help Seol from trouble.

‘Why would he help me?’

Seol got curious.

Her friends from college did not know, but Seol and Daesu’s relationship was closer to a bad one than a good one.

Two days before high school graduation, since that time he stopped Seol from falling down the stairs, Daesu thought that Seol fancied him. His damned misconception must still be valid to this day.

Because even after they got into the same college and the same major, Daesu’s reaction to Seol was the same.

-You think I would fall for you over some food…? That’s so cheesy.

-Nope, I gave one out to everyone. Not just you.

She handed out snacks during the Membership Training camp, helping out the student representative of the major, but that was what he said with a scoff-

-Here, take it. it’s not a love letter, it’s a company field investigation form. If you are going, sign it and hand it in to the representative.

-…That’s a bother. Do you really want me to go?

-What are you saying? Whether you go or not has nothing to do with me.

-Sure. Let’s leave it at that.

Since he mistook anything she handed him to be a love letter, the vice-representative was troubled. And that was the reaction he showed when Seol went to hand him the form in her place.

‘Crazy kid…’

Seol shook her head.

“Hey hey, Ha Daesu is here. quiet down.”

“Ugh, it’s more baffling because he is good-looking.”

With an arrogant face as always, he entered the lecture room and seated himself at the back while everyone stared at him.

Seol turned to look behind carefully.

She could see Daesu sitting with his long arms and legs crossed with a look of indifference.

As much as she didn’t want to admit…

He really was doing shockingly well in life. It was like… he had a face that was understandable why he would think every woman in the world has fallen for him.

As she was staring at Daesu dumbfounded, he noticed her gaze and turned his head, meeting Seol in the eye.

Seol jerked her body around, startled.

‘Ugh, he’s going to take it the wrong way again, isn’t he?”

It would not be like him if he didn’t. As expected, she could hear a small smirk behind her, as if to say her action was laughable.

Seol quietly closed her eyes and trembled in rage as she sighed.

“Seol, do you have some time on the weekend?”

That was when a close friend, Saemi, asked, next to her.

“The weekend? Sure, I’ve got time. Why?”

“I’m going to buy BPS oppas’ album. Want to come with me?” Saemi said with excitement in her voice.

Jiyeon sitting on the other side of Seol, winced, “Are you still stanning BPS? You should have graduated stanning when you were a kid. Act your age.”

“Whatever. Who cares about age when it comes to stanning?”

“Ugh, you are so childish. If you like them, keep it to yourself and don’t try to spread it to others. Our Seol is so soft-hearted and she would listen on as you blabber about your idol without stopping you. I can see it now…”

“Yeah right. You were talking of BPS nonstop yourself about three months ago.”

Saemi and Jiyeon, who were from the same high school, were diehard fans of BPS but since they entered college, they changed their direction.

Saemi was still diehard about stanning while Jiyeon had announced that she would no longer partake in childish stanning.

“Seol, try watching our oppas’ newly released music video. You’ll see why I am this into them. Let’s start stanning together.”

“Hey, Jung Saemi. You think someone like Seol would do something as childish as stanning?”

Hearing Jiyeon’s tart remark, Saemi got discouraged.

“I suppose… it’s hard to imagine Seol stanning something in die-hard style.”

“Absolutely. Seol, do you even know what stanning exactly means?”

Hearing Jiyeon’s question, Seol fell silent for a moment and tilted her head with an awkward smile.

“Well… isn’t it just liking idols?”

“Hm, merely liking them cannot be counted as stanning. The ones who are really stanning for good have that look on their faces. Look, look at Saemi.”

“What look about my face?!”

“Haha… I see.”

Between quarreling Saemi and Miyeon, Seol swallowed dryly with tension.

They asked ‘the’ Lee Seol what stanning is… Lee Seol, who might as well got born out of her mother’s womb shouting ‘my oppa is the bomb!’, Lee Seol who has been stanning hard for 20 years straight…

But unlike the reality of it, Seol was strict in keeping her normie image.

Since she received everyone’s attention the moment she entered college and became the ‘Economic management goddess’, she couldn’t show her true colors as she minded managing her reputation.

“You think Seol would do such things as stanning?”

Precisely because of biases like this people had towards her.

Swallowing her tears in her mind, Seol opened up her textbook.

“The professor’s here. Let’s get ready for class.”

Though it was a shame that she couldn’t talk of BPS as much as her heart desires, Seol was still able to endure.

Why? Because she had slightly lost interest in BPS she used to be so eager about. She had a new ‘oppa’ in her life.

“Hm? Hades Louver? What’s this, Seol?”

“Huh?”

Saemi asked as she was looking at Seol’s propped-up textbook without much thought.

Seol lowered her gaze to look at what Saemi was looking at in her book. On one corner, there was a scribble done without her even knowing when.

Hades Louvremont is a total hottie ♡

OMG just take me oppa

Startled, Seol desperately raised her pen to scribble over the doodle.

Then she made excuses with cold sweat running down her face.

“Er, I was studying at home yesterday and my second brother was tormenting me. It must be him writing something on my textbook.”

“Aha, really? But when I looked at it said oppa something. Your second brother is a guy though, right?”

“Ahh, a guy. Yep. He is my brother, obviously he is a guy. He was just messing around.”

Seeing Seol making excuses, Saemi’s eyes narrowed.

That scribble she so hurriedly hid away had suspicious air about it that could only be sensed by those who have done some stanning.

Back in the three siblings’ home that evening.

Lee Hwan, the second sibling back from the date asked his older brother Lee Shin who was busy preparing dinner.

“Where’s piglet?”

“In her room. Did you eat?”

“I ate with my girlfriend.”

“Then go get Seol. I better feed her. She never gets out just from calling from outside.”

Shin shook his head. Hwan winced at once.

“Ugh, I don’t want to go into her room though. It’s like entering a fanatic’s lair.”

“Hurry.”

Shin nudged Hwan. He had no choice but to head to his sister’s room.

There was a good reason why he was freaking out like this,

It was because of the new ‘oppa’ Seol was crazy about.

It was no surprise to see his sister nerding out since he saw her stanning throughout his 20 years beside him, but…

It was a bit serious this time. the new ‘oppa’ had one thing different from all the target of affection Seol had before: the fact that he was a figment of imagination that didn’t exist.

“Whew…”

Taking a deep breath out, Hwan hardened his will and opened Seol’s room door,

“Shoot, that gave me a fright.”

Then he was immediately startled.

Because of a full body panel right in front of the door when he opened it.

Raven hair and crimson eyes.

Western style attire that looked like it was from the Victorian era.

A 2-dimensional picture of a man with remarkable arrogance on his tilted-up face.

This, was the new guy who had added his name to Seol’s one ‘oppa’ list. He was Hades Louvremont, the male lead of the romantic fantasy novel .

‘How far is she going to go…?’

With a look of disdain, Hwan opened Seol’s door wider.

As his field of vision widened from beyond a view of the full body panel, more details of his little sister’s room that he could never get used to, spread before his eyes.

Her desk was full of DIY cheering sticks (It says Hades♡ and lights up when the button is pressed), a character plushie with comical body proportions, and lastly a fan poster with his portrait on it…

Not just that,

♡HIS GRACE THE HOTTIE♡

[Perfection], that is a word that could only be used to express [Hades Louvremont].

FOR>Hades♡Aisha

All kinds of flashcards with words he can’t even understand surrounded the wall.

Hwan’s face crumpled as hard as he could muster.

His face displayed true disgust.
