Upon Hades’ shocking announcement, the whole hall burst into murmurs. Understandably so, as it should be an announcement that no one saw coming.
He had announced himself an atheist before all the well-established aristocrats of the empire, including the members of the Imperial house.
That wasn’t all of it either. The statue that was obviously placed there to be a Gaionia statue turned out to be a statue of Duke Louvremont the VII with his insolent expression clearly visualized.
Seeing it from any angle, it was an obvious insult to god and a revolt against the Imperial house.
Naturally the aristocrats would have concluded this to be one thing and one thing only: that the tug of war between the Imperial house and Louvremonts had finally come to an end and that Hades had decided to swallow up the imperial house.
