“It’s been a while, Ignis. How have you been?”
Hearing my casual greetings as if talking to a friend I’ve met yesterday, Michael’s mouth opened slightly. It felt most liberating to tell him the truth after waiting on him.
He spoke with a slight wince, “Just how did you…”
“I thought you would have noticed right away.”
“What happened? How did you get in that body…”
“What do you mean how? You know that Procreathor killed Father and disappeared. It’s his doing.”
Michael winced. He looked as if he could almost grasp Procreathor’s reasoning behind this.
He thought for a moment and continued.
“Just why?”
“Procreathor was looking for a way to end our punishment. No, He has already found it.”
“…”
“But before I tell you the facts I’ve found out, I’ll have you tell me just why you are being that way to Deborah. What would you get out of tormenting that kid mentally?”
