Hearing his confident words made me laugh. It calmed me quite a lot to hear him say that it wouldn’t matter what answer I gave him, even if it was a false one.
‘The past life I remember.’
Yes, that was all that mattered.
I answered straight away, “No.”
Hades’ lips tilted in satisfaction in hearing my answer, and then kissed me.
Out locked lips could not feel any hotter.
First kiss, it was an experience I’ve never had both in my previous life and in my new life. Yet, somehow, it wasn’t a sensation that felt unfamiliar or embarrassing.
The moment the hot, moist tongue cut through between my defenselessly open lips, I was worried that I may hear voices in my head again, but only for a moment. The owner of this body right now, was me. I could no longer be swayed so easily by someone else acting on behalf of me against my will.
As if my body knew that, the inside of my head was as silent as could be.
