Chapter 119
JAIME'S POV.
Panic seemed to light up her face as she realized I had drugged her. She closed her eyes tight and opened them wide.
"Damn you. You drugged me. Why? Jaime, you…" she managed to say and blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision, which was probably blurry and a little dark.
I twirled my drink in my glass. "Relax. Nothing's going to come out of you fighting anyway," I said with a smile.
Her eyes filled with angry tears, and she held her head, trying to breathe calmly.
"It was so hard to get this drug, you know?" I said and looked at her glass.
It had actually been easier than I expected. Georgia had been so easy to fool. First, she had sweetly waited for friends that would never come, and she had easily fallen for my trick when I asked to see the fastest drinker.
I needed something quite effective, and her drinking it all had been the best way to get it to work quickly.
