A week later.
The 'fishing' enforcement plan was half successful.
Ever since over three hundred Death Eaters took a trip to Hogsmeade and never came back...
The entire wizarding world fell into a stunned silence.
The Pure-blood families, led by the Malfoys, regretted choosing a side too early upon learning that the Death Eater army had been decimated at Hogsmeade.
This battle had far-reaching consequences. Many wizards who were cowardly or neutral finally dared to stand up against Voldemort; this wave of resistance grew higher and higher.
To expand their gains, Harry Potter led the resistance out of Hogwarts, appearing elusively in every corner of the wizarding world to hunt down Death Eaters.
Voldemort couldn't just sit by and do nothing while his subordinates were being hunted.
Forced into a corner, he found an opportunity to personally launch a sneak attack on Harry Potter.
But the result...
He ran into that old schemer Harvey, who was using Harry Potter as bait and hiding behind the scenes.
As a result, the 16-year-old Voldemort perished completely.
The entire wizarding world erupted in an uproar once again.
The Pure-blood families, caught in the gap between Voldemort and the resistance, spent their days in utter terror.
These fence-sitters, terrified of following in that Voldemort's footsteps, hastily found opportunities to defect and fled the England region.
Losing the support of the Pure-blood families, the Death Eaters' momentum plummeted, and the situation gradually tilted toward the resistance.
But after this successful fishing operation...
The remaining two Voldemorts learned to be afraid. They completely destroyed the Ministry of Magic, Gringotts, and Diagon Alley—which they had occupied for two months.
Leaving a total mess for the wizarding world.
Subsequently, the two Voldemorts led the remaining Death Eaters from the spotlight into the shadows, vanishing once again.
With that, the chaotic war in the wizarding world finally ended, ushering in a rare period of calm.
Voldemort preferred to act like a turtle hiding in its shell; no matter how he was lured, he wouldn't show his face. Harvey had no way of dealing with him for the time being either.
He had no choice but to bring Hermione to the Marvel Universe to catch up with her parents.
June 17, 2013.
The estate villa in the northern suburbs of New York.
Hermione had just returned from visiting her parents in London.
Wanda followed behind Hermione like a lackey as she walked through the door.
With the two women entering one after the other, a sudden low-pressure atmosphere enveloped the entire living room.
Wanda had gone to visit her brother, Pietro.
Previously, Pietro had been sent to New York University for further studies.
But that brat Pietro naturally did not have a law-abiding personality and had actually gotten into a fight with others at school.
To wipe her brother's ass, Wanda had to use her psionic abilities to alter the memories of all the witnesses.
Therefore, after lecturing her brother, she had returned home and sat on the sofa without saying a word, sulking alone.
Hermione, who already couldn't stand Wanda, had actually lingered in the living room for a while after hearing the news of Pietro's trouble, wanting to see her make a fool of herself.
At this moment, Cho Chang was in the kitchen preparing lunch.
Wanda was sulking in a corner of the sofa.
Hermione had her arms crossed, prepared to watch the show.
As for Harvey, he had been researching new spells during this time.
His head was filled with various combinations of magic.
For example, researching how to make two or more spells with similar attributes not conflict with each other, while also unleashing greater power.
Also researching the combination of ancient and modern spells to produce an effect where 1+1 is greater than 3.
Versions like Lumos 2.0, Incendio 1.5, Confringo 1.6, and so on...
These were all the latest results of his research.
To put it plainly, Harvey's psionic mana was now very strong, but it only amounted to having an extremely high mana pool.
His "skills" were too outdated; in his eyes, the spells of the Harry Potter world were all a bit weak in terms of power.
So, he wanted to develop more and stronger "ultimate moves."
However, developing new spells was not something that could be completed overnight.
Especially with zero prior experience to draw upon.
Progress on developing new spells was very slow.
But Harvey wouldn't give up. He had recently mulled over a plan that could speed up the research process.
So, he had absolutely no time to deal with the petty schemes of Wanda and the other girls.
Right now, Harvey sat at the dining table, and while waiting for lunch to be ready, he was still thinking about his new spells.
But the atmosphere in the living room grew more and more oppressive.
It wasn't until Cho Chang finished making lunch and used a Levitation Charm to control platters of fragrant, mouth-watering food to fly onto the table.
Attracted by the aroma of the roasted lamb, Harvey snapped out of it, only then realizing that Wanda and Hermione seemed a bit off.
"What's wrong with you two? Is the lunch not to your taste?"
Although foods like roasted lamb, pan-seared steak, mashed potatoes, vegetable salad, grilled salmon, and pasta were relatively greasy...
Since when did these two start becoming picky eaters?
"I'm fine. I'm just in a bit of a bad mood. The business with Pietro is truly frustrating."
Wanda forced a tiny smile, silently stood up, and walked over to the dining table. After taking a seat, she picked up her knife and fork and began to eat without saying a word.
Hermione, meanwhile, cast a resentful glance at the two massive mountains on Wanda's chest.
That size... it's simply not magical at all. She must have stuffed them with padding like I do.
She couldn't help but say sarcastically: "Just to cover up a mistake made by a relative, a certain ungrateful woman actually dared to illegally alter Muggles' memories."
Wanda was already in a bad mood; being insulted to her face like that made her even more infuriated.
"Hmph! Illegal? Which law in America says I'm not allowed to modify someone's memory?"
"If there's something wrong with your eyes, Sister Hermione, I suggest you go to the Hospital of the Holy Cross for treatment."
"If you're sick, go get cured quickly!"
Wanda's skill in sarcasm had improved, as could be seen from Hermione's puffed-up cheeks.
Seeing the two women at each other's throats again, Harvey slightly regretted bringing Hermione over.
It was no lie that three women together make for quite a show.
"Alright, everyone stop arguing. Since you're all so idle that you have time to bicker, it looks like I'll have to find something for you to do."
The three women simultaneously cast suspicious looks at Harvey.
"What is it?"
Harvey pondered for a long time. He was considering how to more tactfully say that he wanted to find another girl to complete a four-person mahjong table.
But he was afraid that if he said it, he would piss off all three women at once.
So, he could only abandon that bold idea and instead said with a serious face: "Do you guys still remember The Hand?"
Wanda took over the conversation: "Of course I remember that gang made up of ninjas. But didn't we eliminate their five leaders?"
Cho Chang seemed to remember something, her face full of shock as she said: "I remember The Hand has a kind of evil magic concerning resurrection. Could those five leaders have resurrected?"
Harvey shook his head and said: "That's not it. Those five leaders had their very ashes scattered by you; how could they possibly resurrect?"
"What I want to talk about is The Hand at their headquarters in Japan. After losing their leaders, the middle-to-lower-tier ninjas have become even more frenzied."
"From what I know, The Hand plans to summon the hell demon known as the Beast, and then sacrifice the entire world to achieve their plot."
Wanda and Cho Chang showed expressions of eager excitement. They exchanged a glance and said in unison:
"We have to stop them!"
"When do we leave?"
