Chapter 62- The Child Of Gold (Part 1)
As the girl's eyes opened slowly and as she stared directly at Rein, he felt something he had never felt before. Putting it into words was impossible, and making sense of it was even harder. It was simply as if he was staring at something that shouldn't exist… A creature that transcends this world and everything within it.
She didn't look like an earthling, or even something humane in any way. Her eyes, as deep as the deepest seas, seemed to carry something this world could never create. Rein was unable to speak for a second.
'Severance?' He asked himself as he realized what she said. 'What is she talking about? Is she talking to me?'
The word was totally human, its context, however, was far from. Rein wrecked his brain for a second before he finally asked a question.
"What are you?" He asked in a quiet tone, almost as if he didn't know what he was asking. The girl blinked silently, but didn't reply to his question.
