the next morning
Charlie pov
It was the last day of our vacation, and we all had decided to head to Disneyland for the day. so, we all got dressed, had breakfast and headed out on the road. as we arrived at the park, we took in the sights all around us and sure enough, lily spotted one of her favorite Disney princesses "mommy, Mira, it's Merida"! she cried in excitement. "wanna go and meet her"? Chica and Roxanne asked. " Please, mommy"? lily asked with a pleaded look in her eyes. ""okay, but stay with Chica and Roxanne, listen and no wondering off" nelly said and with that, the three of them left to catch up with Merida. "Alright guys, stay together and let's have fun'! I stated.
foxy and mangle went towards where there was a "pirates of the Caribbean" theme part of the park. Freddy, purrsephone, bonnie and meowlody headed towards the characters of Winnie the pooh part of the park. Eddie, modo, throttle and Danny zipped over to the Star Wars side while Monty, nelly, Vinnie and I looked at one another and then we decided to check out the princess and the frog themed side of the park which had a unique likeness of new Orlene's and its swampy bayous. Monty seemed to be in awe as we walked through the swamp where just like at Monty's golf course back home, had alligator animatronics poking their heads out of the water snapping like crazy.
of course, Monty couldn't help himself but laugh at Vinnie's expression when one of the gators popped its head out and lunged right at him which made him jumped in brief spook. " Aww, my poor, brave fiancé" I spoke up teasingly. " Ha ha , it is to laugh, my sweet Charlene" he replied back. " touché" I said. we continued on through the bayou til we came to an attraction diner called "Tiana's place" which of course like in the movie, was an actual restaurant with louis the gator performing on stage. Monty walked over towards the animatronic gator and said, " hey bro, how's it goin"?
we couldn't help but laugh at the moment, then Monty says, " wanna grab a bite"? we all nodded our heads and sat down to eat. The food was amazing, from the smell, the presentation and taste. It had that authentic Louisiana feel, smell and taste about it. then louis the gator began to play his trumpet on stage. Then, out of nowhere came Tiana and Naveen and the three of them began singing the song " when I'm human" from the movie and the four of us were in awe at the performance while we ate. one of the waitresses, a young woman with dark hair and blue eyes walked towards our table and asked, " can I get ya'h some dessert"? 'Yeah, and the bill" Monty stated " sure thing Hun"! she squeaked in delight. she rushed back into the kitchen to place our order.
now I'm no mind reader, but the look on nelly's face seemed troubled because the look in her eyes spelled out, " bitch back the fuck off my man/gator/robot" and unless Vinnie and I stepped in, things were going to only get uglier. so, the same waitress came back with our order, bur seemed to be all googie eyed" over Monty. " Here ya'h are, enjoy, sweets" she said as she stood there twirling the end of her hair as if she was waiting for Monty's response. " Thank ya'h miss" he said as he looked at the bill until he notices something written on the back of the receipt. " what's this"? he asked her raising a brow.
" Oh uh...."she started to say til I snatch the receipt right out his hand, turned it over to the back of it and saw that she'd written her digits on it with a wink face drawn on it. " I'd appreciate the gesture miss, but I's spoken fer" he replied. " Aww, surely ya'h won't change ya'h mind, Sug"? she pressed further. " Like the man says, "he's spoken fer " now get fucking steppin, skank"! nelly stated in a low, angry growl. " Nelly girl, calm down now"! I tried to keep her from even thinking about wanting to kill the bitch, but thankfully that that little bit alone was enough to send the girl speed walking the hell out of dodge and fast too.
" Babe, ya'h alright there, Cher"? Monty asked her. " I'll be alright, let's just get out of here" she said calm yet angrily. but overall, well composed even though she scared the shit out of the poor bitch. " wanna step outside abit"? he asked cautiously. " sure" nelly said slightly calmer than a few minutes ago. " we'll be right back" he said to Vinnie and I as they headed out on the roof top balcony of the building.
Vinnie pov
It was just Charlie girl and I in the dining area of the restaurant and I looked over to her and asked, " you think they'll be alright, doll"? " Oh, I think they will, just gotta let them sort it out" she said confidently. " If you say so, sweetheart" I replied in turn. we finished our dessert and headed out to meet Monty and nelly. when we came out, everything seemed fine. so, we left the restaurant and walked through the rest of the bayou and headed back to meeting up with the others.
" Hey, b'fore we leave this place, there's a place I'd like t'a stop by at" Monty said. " Sure, where at"? nelly asked. " I can't tell ya'h yet, Cher" he said with a wink. so, we walked on til we reached a store where they sold the princess and the frog merchandise items including costumes. Monty looked over to us and asked," hey, Charlie, could I see you b'fore I head in here"?" sure thing" she said and walked over towards him while I hanged with nelly girl. then in less than five minutes later Charlie walked back over to us.
" Hey Monty says he'll meet us by the river ride as soon as he's finished with things here" she said. "kay" nelly and I both said at the same time. so, we walked towards the river ride and waited in line. then, a few minutes later, Monty showed up in time for our turn to hop in the boat carrying bags and boxes. " What did you do bro, bought the whole store"? I stated with humor.
" Very funny" he stated flatly. we all hopped on board and cruising through the swamp. it was then Charlie and I looked at Monty who was seated next to nelly and asked, "what you got there, bro"? " It's a secret "he said with his finger to his lips as he slightly glanced over at nelly girl, "gotcha" we both nodded. It wasn't long before the ride came to an end and we were all set to join the others by Cinderella's castle where there came a random employee announced a royal ball held at the castle and everyone was invited." mommy, can we go to the ball, please"? lily asked with delight.
all the girls seemed eager, I of course, wouldn't mind having somewhat a magical evening with my fair lady. " Well, I don't see why not" nelly replied. " Could Skylar come too"? Danny asked." sure, just make sure it's alright with her parents" she said. " Well, looks like we'll need new attire for the evening, so let's get shopping"! Charlie suggested. so, we hit the shops and bought attire wear for the occasion. the girls all head towards the ladies' room to change while the guys left to the men's room and change.
after 25 minutes later, we all met up out front of the restrooms. the girls looked amazing in their princess gear and gowns. Chica in a snow-white gown, Roxy wore a Mulan styled one, lily in a Merida one, mangle wore an ariel theme pink gown, Charlie wore a Cinderella gown, meowlody wore an Elsa blue gown, her twin wore an anna green and black gown. now nelly gave quite an entrance as she stepped of the lady's room, for she wore a pink long sleeve gown with white trim slightly off the shoulder with a tiara and matching necklace. Chica looked over and cried, " nelly, your #1 favorite was sleeping beauty"?! she asked. " yep" she said with a sly smile and a wink.
the girls all looked amazing especially me and Monty's girls, then Monty, the rest of the guys and myself each walked over to our stunning princesses with our arm out and said, " shall we go, fair princess"? Monty asked with a flirtatious wink towards nelly. " we'd love to, our dear princes" she said noting our attire. we all wore outfits matching to what our ladies were wearing. Monty's Phillip outfit to nelly's aroura attire, my prince charming to Charlie's Cinderella, Freddy's Kristoff to purrsephone's anna, Bonnie's jack frost to meowlody's Elsa and foxy's eric to mangle's ariel. Danny wore a Flynn Ryder and Skylar wore a Rapunzel gown. throttle wore a shan li attire, modo wore a jack sparrow attire and Eddie in a john smith attire.
so, we all traveled towards the entrance of Cinderella's castle and made our way towards the ballroom. the ballroom was blazing with bright lights, lively guests and awesome food. the music was also lively as we lead our ladies to the dance floor. the songs were based on Disney couple themed and when the first song titled "so this is love" from Cinderella finished, some of us headed towards the refreshments table. there was both red and white wines in champagne glasses for the adults and juice for the kids.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, princes and princesses before we get started on the next song, I have an announcement to make " said a voice from where two chairs which were meant to be thrones, was another person that looked like Cinderella but more authentic than those who wore similar gowns at the ball. " In two glasses, are little crowns, a king's crown and a queen's crown, whosoever finds them in their glasses is our "king and queen of the evening and will have a special dance in their honor, also don't forget to stick around for our fireworks extravaganza finale " she finished.
as soon as most of us finished our wine glasses, there came a clink or two sound lo and behold, both Monty and nelly found little crowns in their wine glasses. " No way"! Monty called out surprise to find the king's crown in his and nelly found the queens crown in hers. " Our happy king, our happy queen, congratulations"! the crowd cheered. Monty and nelly both took a bow and curtsy as they were being led to where the thrones were located. then the music started to play and from the look on nelly's face, she seemed to recognize the tune of the song.
The name of the song was " Once upon a dream" from sleeping beauty and the two of them from the way they'd danced, you could say was something out of a fairy tale. then by the end of the song, the announcer stated, " Now ladies and gentlemen, for those who wish for a better view, please make towards the balconies closets to you and prepare to be amazed with our fireworks finale, thank you and enjoy the rest of your visit at Disneyland" and with that that, we made our way towards the balcony to catch a glimpse of the fireworks.
I had to say, it was an epic ending to an epic fun day, for as the display was coming to an end, Monty along with Foxy, Bonnie, Freddy, Roxy and myself each presented a rose for our lovely princesses. even Danny presented his lady fair a rose as well. with that we made our way towards the exit of the park and headed back to the hotel to start packing for our journey back home to Delaware in the morning.
