"What the--? Am I Dead or something?". Vinay slowly opens his eyes looking at the ground while brushing his arm all over his body in disbelief.
"I think God saved me!". Vinay suddenly falls on the ground but it is a small fall.
"I saved you, moron!!". Acharya Lokesh snaps his fingers and bursts out in anger.
"I perfectly timed my technique to levitate your body when you reached the range of my anti gravitation sphere." Acharya Lokesh explains dead looking at Vinay with annoyance.
"Where did I go wrong?" Vinay stands up looking embarrassed unable to look into his eyes.
"Tell me at what point you felt that you were right? Cuz looking at you I should say "You landed on your butt!". Acharya Lokesh mocks while shouting in anger.
"Sorry … I was at least successful in jumping at a good height. I could win any basketball match easily with this technique". Vinay regains his composure lightly explaining his logic.
"Well, you must focus on your technique because in mid-air, you lost your concentration so the aerial jump didn't reduce the impact on descending towards the ground ". Acharya Lokesh sighs with disappointment noting down the flaws.
Then a Man in the same suite as Acharya Lokesh runs towards them carrying daggers.
"Acharya … Acharya! I have brought you the weapon you demanded". The man pants while handing over the weapon to Acharya Lokesh.
"Thanks Viraj, I nearly forgot to ask you about this." Acharya Lokesh takes the weapon studying it at every angle.
"What is this, Acharya?". Vinay glances at the daggers as he stops panting.
"This is your new weapon. Assassins always carry their weapons." Acharya Lokesh hands him those daggers. Viraj quietly leaves from behind.
But suddenly the mission room echoes the alarm which is the indication of a mission request.
"Hurry up! We have got a mission now!". Acharya Lokesh runs heading towards the mission room and Vinay meets his pace following the trail.
Door open with a slam and the burning card's flame slows down with a spell. The request appears with a name following with the details of the location. Vinay gasped with horror in his eyes as the name appears.
"Virender Kumar".
The man who teaches Maths at his school. Vinay felt chills reading the name and the description with his brain confirming the same name of his maths teachers. Acharya Lokesh looks at him studying Vinay's slumped shoulders. He placed a hand on his shoulder the warmth of his hand relaxes his tension a bit.
"Vinay, you don't have to panic when you have to save people, okay?". Acharya Lokesh's warm smile releases the tensions with that Vinay nods as he takes the request card.
"Teleport". The chant activates with smoke encircling both of them and in a matter of a second, they disappear. Vinay opens his eyes finding himself at a corner of the street. Acharya Lokesh moves swiftly looking for that teacher. A scream coming straight out of an apartment startled both of them.
Acharya Lokesh turn his head and speaks up "Vinay go to the second floor. I heard the scream from that house". Acharya Lokesh points his fingers towards the balcony.
"But there are security guards at the gates. Probably we will not be allowed to trespass". Vinay glances at the gate finding two guards sitting on the cabin just at the gate.
"You fool; you can use your aerial jump and land on that floor!". Acharya Lokesh yells at him with irritation.
Vinay quickly nods and used his aerial jump. He focuses on the balcony and flying towards it. He quickly catches the railing and pulled his body crossing the railing. He wipes of the sweat and heads towards the balcony gate. Surprisingly the gate is not locked and he enters the house.
He looks for his teacher and stops. In front of his eye, a predator with forearms formed into a sharp object and the flesh turned grey with nerves popping giving a clear view of them. The predator slowly walks inside the room stepping his feet on the broken door. Vinay sees his teacher crying while stumbling back.
Vinay quickly drops a book from the table. The sound forces the predator to turn his head back giving Vinay attention.
The predator tilts its head giving a knowing look. The house is dark and his huge form cloaked in darkness. Vinay takes out the daggers and steps back a little.
The predator with no hurry lunged forward and throws its arms towards Vinay's neck. With a deep breath he dugs
Vinay moves aside and pierced the dagger to its neck. The predator growls in pain the noise echoing across the floor. Vinay runs past him and finds his teacher leaning against the wall with arms crossed and head buried inside his knee.
"Kumar sir! I have come here to rescue you!". Kumar sir looks up hearing a familiar voice. His messy hairs and scratches across the face looks concerning.
"Vinay? What are you doing here? Leave before that creature attacks you too!". Kumar sir hides his face again and his voice trembling with a look of horror in his eyes.
"Come on! We have not got any time for this! Hurry up and let's leave!". Vinay extends his arms stepping few feet away.
From the back, Predator growls even louder. His lumping form standing up with a creak on the floor.
"Listen up, I am not leaving you here to die. Either come with me before that monster attacks again or stay here while I get rid of that problem." Vinay kneels down leaning closer while putting his elbow to his thigh whispering closely.
"Don't be so stupid, Vinay. How are you going to kill it?". Kumar sir gets stunned looking at him.
"Leave that case to me. You wait here till I remove the danger entirely". Vinay determinedly stands up retrieving his dagger from the floor. He exits the room but the predator ferociously rushes towards Vinay. Vinay dodged the claw but another arm strikes his defences sending him crashed onto the wall. Vinay wipes off his mouth staggering while standing up.
"Damn it! One more blow and he will have two meals at once for sure. I have to complete this mission otherwise I can not save Aarna." Vinay thinks while sweating with tensions he looks for his dagger. The daggers lying beneath that predator.
Vinay picks up the chair with all his strength and throws it towards the predator. The chair crashed onto his chest surprising him. Its vision becomes unclear giving Vinay a chance. Vinay sprints retrieving the dagger from the floor. Blood sprays out with wound opening as Vinay stabs both of the daggers to its chest. Vinay drags the dagger cutting more of the skin. The predator growls in pain leaning against the wall. Vinay takes out the daggers a grin cloaks his face.
"That's what you get for punching me!". Vinay cries outs with a sigh.
Predator puts pressure to the wound with an desperate attempt he attacks with a roar. The claw adjoined to its arm meets Vinay's daggers. A clash of sharpy objects sending pressure to both of them.
Vinay blocks with both of the daggers but couldn't hold much longer facing brute strength from the claw.
"Kumar sir here is the chance! Run… I will hold him out" Vinay scream from the top of his lungs. Kumar sir wastes no time and runs across the living room. The predator turns his head growling the pressure reduces giving Vinay an upper hand. Vinay stabs one dagger scratching the throat. The predator cries with a roar blood spilling out like a water fall. Predator runs after Kumar sir staggering while dashing out the main door.
Vinay follows the creature, seeing Vinay with a glance. The predator starts climbing stairs ascending towards the upper floors. Vinay runs following the trail. Every step marked by the dripping blood from the creature's wounds. Vinay crossed every stair determined to finish that predator with one last blow.
Door opens; the breezing air flows across the terrace floor. Vinay finds the predator walking towards the ledge. Vinay gasped and dashed forwardly meeting the predator. With a jump predator suspended in air trying to reach the other building's terrace. Vinay follows up with a dash jump.
"No, you can't escape!". Vinay uses forward jump maintaining the balance of Roop and Aroop.
Vinay pierced a hole through that predator's back. The predator grunts losing his balance as falls down. Vinay clings onto his back while crashing down the ground.
Vinay's eyes parades around the ground finding an empty spot to land. But his eyes widens as he is unable to manipulate the eternal essence to slows his fall. Both of them reaches near the ground impact.
"Now or never! ". Vinay yells at himself timely using the eternal essence.
BUMP!!
Blood flows around the ground with shattered metal pieces. The predator lying on the crashed roof of the car. The rusted car crushed by the sheer impact of the fall.
Vinay slowly lands on the floor and once his feet contact the ground. Vinay's face appears with relief seeing the crashed form of that predator.
"Oh god that was brutal." Vinay sits on the ground panting heavily sweat dripping across his cheeks.
"Well done. You did this job better than I expected". Acharya Lokesh claps appearing Infront of him.
"Vinay, oh god what was that?! Are you hurt anywhere? Let me have a clear look." Kumar sir runs appearing from the front gate holding Vinay's hand scanning with concern.
"I am fine, Kumar sir. Nothing much happened to me besides some cracked bones I guess". Vinay shook his arm getting startled by the sudden invasion.
"But how did you do all of this? You killed that creature just like that?". Kumar Sir stands up with a shocking look gazing over the crashed scrap.
"I assume you must be Virender Kumar right?". Acharya Lokesh studies his face with amusement.
"Yeah, and who are you?". Kumar sir turns his head nodding with confirmation.
"I am an Assassin. I brought my student for your help. Do you need any medical assistance sir?". Acharya Lokesh asks while bowing his head for respect.
"No, I am fine. Thank for helping me. I had really lost my hope once that creature attacked me." Kumar sir holds Acharya Lokesh's hands with gratitude he kneels a bit.
"Sir it was my duty to answer to your request. I think you should thank him not me." Acharya Lokesh politely free his hands with a smile cascading his face.
"Vinay. Thank you so much for helping me. I really am glad to be your teacher". Kumar sir's eye wields up with tears of joy.
The area gets surrounded by the people coming out of the apartments encircling the scene unfolded.
"Everyone kindly step back and maintain a distance from the scene. There is no danger left in this place. Police will investigate this area so kindly all of you return to your homes". Acharya Lokesh's arm signals for a stop and waving them in the air.
"Was the mission successful? Am I an Assassin Now?". Vinay glances at the crowd with a lazy smile.
"Sure, indeed. You have completed your first mission. Good luck for the future ones". Acharya Lokesh nods with a following smile.
