Good manners are not born with us. They are learnt. Good manners help to make a man popular . They are the ornaments of a gentalman. They are admired (praised) by all. They make a person a useful member of the society. They are more important than the laws of the government. If a man has good manners, he is liked by all. People praise him and respect him. If a man does not have good manners, no one likes him. People hate him. No one likes to mix with him.
Good manners cost nothing, but their effects are very valuable. If a child is not taught good manners, he will become rough. Good manners give colour and grace to life.
We should have good manners at home, at school and every where. We should respect our parents, neighbours, teacher and elders. We should have affection (love)for those who are younger to us. We should value the feelings of other. We should look to the comfort of each member of our family. We should welcome the guest warmly. We should help everyone.
We should follow good manners in the school. We should pay proper respect to our Teachers and friends. We should be polite to them. We should protect the school property. We should keep our class-room clean.
