Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: The Empress’s Vulnerability – Decoding the Stone Heart

The moon hung low over the perfume-scented peaks of Amazon Lily, but inside the mountain's private medicinal cave, the air was freezing. Amine sat cross-legged on a stone slab, his bare chest wrapped in bandages infused with rare Amazonian herbs. Every breath felt like inhaling liquid fire, but his mind was elsewhere—it was diving deep into the 'Source Code' of his own recovery.

Suddenly, the heavy stone doors creaked open. Boa Hancock walked in, her long black hair cascading down her back like a silken waterfall. She didn't have her usual retinue of guards; she was alone, and for the first time, she didn't look like an Empress. She looked like a woman haunted by ghosts.

"The healers say you are not human," she said, her voice echoing in the hollow chamber. She stood at the edge of the moonlight, her shadow stretching towards Amine. "They say you don't just heal; you 'rebuild'. Tell me, Scholar... what kind of monster are you?"

Amine opened his eyes, which flickered with a faint violet light. "I'm the kind of monster that knows the truth, Hancock. I see the world as a series of layers. Most people see the skin, the blood, and the status. I see the 'Logic' behind it all. And right now... your logic is broken by fear."

Hancock's face twisted in rage, her hand glowing with a pink, lethal light. She moved with blinding speed, her fingers locking around Amine's throat. "You dare speak to me of fear? I could turn you to stone with a single thought!"

Amine didn't struggle. He leaned in, his eyes locking onto hers with a terrifying intensity. "Then do it. Turn me to stone. But you know as well as I do that the 'Mark' on your back won't turn to stone with me. It will stay there, burning, reminding you that you were once 'Property'."

The silence that followed was deafening. Hancock's grip loosened, her hand trembling. A single tear, cold as ice, tracked down her cheek. "How do you know?" she whispered, her voice breaking.

"Because I've read the 'Global Log-Files'," Amine replied, his voice softening. "Fisher Tiger didn't just save your bodies; he gave you a chance to 'Edit' your lives. But you've been running on an 'Old Version' of yourself for too long. I'm here to give you the Update."

He reached out, his finger touching her forehead. [INITIATING DATA-LINK: SCHOLAR TO EMPRESS.] For a split second, the cave vanished. Hancock saw the world in glowing lines of blue and violet. She saw her fear as a red, pulsing 'Error' in her system. And then, with a tap of Amine's finger, she saw it get 'Deleted'.
