Chapter 108 - Chapter 108: The Ink that Shakes the World

The atmosphere in the tavern was thick with the scent of cheap rum and sweat, but for once, it wasn't the booze that had everyone paralyzed. It was the thin, glossy pages scattered across the wooden tables.

On the cover of the latest issue of The Pirate Scholar's Weekly, a single image stood out: A man with a flaming fist, facing a giant made of magma. Below it, the caption read: "The Death of an Era."

Reda leaned back in the shadows of the corner booth, his eyes glowing faintly as the blue System screens flickered in his vision. He watched the crowd. A veteran pirate, a man who had survived the New World, was shaking. His hands trembled as he turned the page, whispering, "This... this is impossible. How does he know about the execution? How does he know the exact words Whitebeard said?"

"It's not just a story anymore," a navigator hissed, slamming his fist on the table. "He's not a writer... he's a prophet! If the Navy finds out this 'Scholar' is leaks their tactical secrets before they even happen, they'll turn the whole ocean upside down to find him!"

Somewhere in the Grand Line – The Thousand Sunny

Robin sat on the deck, the sea breeze tossing her hair, but her focus was entirely on the book in her lap. Her usual calm demeanor was gone, replaced by a sharp, calculating intensity.

"Luffy," she called out, her voice low.

Luffy, who was mid-stretch, tilted his head. "Yeah, Robin? Is it more meat stories?"

"No," she replied, pointing to a panel that depicted a hidden Poneglyph they hadn't even found yet. "This man... this 'Pirate Scholar.' He isn't just writing about our adventures. He's writing our future. He knows about the Void Century details that I've spent my life hunting. And he's giving it away for the price of a few Berries."

Zoro, leaning against the mast, opened one eye. "Is he an enemy?"

"That's the terrifying part," Robin whispered. "He isn't fighting with a sword or a Devil Fruit. He's fighting with truth. And in this world, truth is more dangerous than a Buster Call."

Back with the Scholar...

Reda felt a sudden chill. The System chimed with a high-pitched warning.

A shadow fell over his table. It wasn't a local thug or a curious fan. The air in the tavern suddenly turned freezing, then boiling hot. A tall figure in a tattered cloak pulled up a chair across from him.

"You have a very dangerous habit of telling secrets, kid," the stranger said. The voice was gravelly, echoing with the power of the sea itself. "The World Government has put a bounty on your head that rivals the Worst Generation. Not for your strength... but for your ink."

Reda didn't flinch. He reached into his bag and pulled out a fresh, unreleased draft. "Then I suppose you'll want to read the next chapter before you turn me in?"

The stranger paused. The tavern went silent. The world was waiting for the next page to turn.
