Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: The Prophet’s Final Move

[The Storyline]

The air in Loguetown was thick with the scent of sea salt and approaching rain. Amine gripped his stylus so hard his knuckles turned white. Across the plaza, the "Rival Prophet" wasn't just drawing—he was rewriting the laws of gravity.

"You think you're the only one with a system?" the Rival sneered, his brush glowing with a dark, cursed energy. "I've been erasing authors like you for centuries."

Amine looked at Luffy, who was trapped in a cage made of literal 'Text Bubbles' that he couldn't punch through. The system screamed a final warning: [Critical Error: The Protagonist's fate is being deleted!]

Amine didn't hesitate. Instead of drawing a weapon, he drew a 'Mirror Layer' over the entire sky. "If you want to erase the story," Amine whispered, "you'll have to erase yourself first."

As the Rival's dark ink hit the mirror, the sky cracked like glass. The reflection didn't just show the plaza; it showed the real world—the desk where the story was being written. For a split second, both Prophets saw the hand of the 'Origin Author'.

"The Grand Line isn't just a sea," Amine shouted as the mirror shattered, freeing Luffy. "It's the boundary between our reality and theirs!"
