The storm was brewing over Loguetown. Amine and Nami reached the execution platform just as a loud, cheerful voice echoed through the plaza.
"I'M THE MAN WHO WILL BE KING OF THE PIRATES!"
Monkey D. Luffy was pinned down by Buggy the Clown, a giant sword held over his neck. The crowd was screaming, but Luffy was smiling.
"System," Amine whispered. "Is it time?"

As the lightning struck the platform, destroying Buggy's sword, Luffy fell to the ground, laughing. In the chaos, Amine ran toward him. "Luffy! Catch!"
He threw a special edition of Chapter 1. Luffy caught it, looking at the drawing of himself. "Eh? Who is this cool guy on the cover? He looks just like me!"
"That is you, Luffy," Amine shouted over the thunder. "It's the story of your journey. And I'm the one who records it."
Luffy's eyes turned into stars. "Waaa! A book about me? You're awesome, Hoodie-guy! Join my crew!"
