Chapter 1: The Falling Light
I had been staying at my grandfather's house for a couple of days.
His house was far from the city, surrounded by a quiet forest.The nights were usually quiet, but that particular night felt strange.
I was outside when I noticed a strange light in the sky.
It wasn't like a normal star or a shooting meteor. It was glowing… flickering, like it was alive.
And it was coming from the direction of the forest.
Something about it didn't feel right.
Before I could think properly, I started running toward it.
The deeper I went into the forest, the stranger everything felt.
The air became heavy.

I stopped.
There were two figures in front of me.
Not human.
They were fighting.

Trees shook violently.
The ground trembled beneath my feet.
I struggled to stand properly.
The atmosphere itself felt distorted.
It was like gravity was getting stronger.
My body felt heavy.
Breathing became difficult.
I tried to move back, but I couldn't.

A powerful burst of energy exploded between them.
And something fell.
A small object.
Glowing purple.
It dropped from above and landed right in front of me.
I froze.
The object pulsed with a soft but powerful light.
I could feel its energy even from a distance.
My heart started beating faster.
I knew I shouldn't touch it.

I couldn't stop myself.
I slowly walked closer.
Step by step.
Then I reached out my hand.
The moment I touched it—
A surge of energy rushed through my body.

Pain spread everywhere.

The object was stuck to me.

Everything started spinning.

The purple light slowly disappeared into me.

The forest was quiet again.

I slowly stood up, still feeling weak.
"What… happened last night?"
Everything felt like a dream.

My body felt… strange.
Not painful.
But not normal either.
