Rinaldo looked away in guilt, knowing he had no real excuse. His curiosity had truly killed the cat tonight. He chuckled nervously his eyes looking everywhere.
Alessandro stepped closer, voice dropping into something dark and threatening.
"Stop putting your nose in business that doesn't concern you, Rinaldo. Or you'll pay dearly for it."
Rinaldo nodded frantically. "Y-Yes, sir. I'm sorry, sir."
Rinaldo looked up at his face for a second and noticed the bruises and most of all a hand print on his face, his breathe hitched for a second as he asked with caution with his fingers raised to his lips.
"Master Alessandro, your face… what happened? Who slapped you?!"
Alessandro then remembered Elena had raised her hand at him… was it that hard that it left a hand print?
"None of your business Rinaldo…" he growled darkly.
"Was it… madam Elena?" Rinaldo asked with a dramatic gasp as he tried to look into the room.
"Rinaldo!!! Get out of my sight."
"Uhh… I'm sorry sir!"
