Chapter 118 - Chapter 120...

Chapter 120, Okay, this isn't an exception.

"Hufflepuff is a steady house. The young wizards sorted here are honest and loyal. They may not be the best, but they are certainly the most trustworthy friends."

Lynn was trying his best to maintain Hogwarts' image, lest this witch from the Soviet Union talk to Dumbledore later—"Good heavens, so this is the kind of people you Hogwarts are all like this."

Dumbledore would definitely think he was ruining Hogwarts' reputation, and he would make things difficult for him later!

Slytherin was hopeless, Ravenclaw had been ruined by him, but it didn't matter, there was still the mature and steady Hufflepuff.

Lynn had a mysterious confidence in being able to produce a house like Cedric.

Then, three minutes later, they encountered Cedric, who had just returned from outside the castle.

Cedric looked dirty, as if he had just come back from the Quidditch pitch.

Harry Potter's performance in the first game had put a lot of pressure on him, and now he was training intensively every day, including today.

His fighting spirit was high, and he was muttering something unintelligible. The moment he saw Lynn, Cedric's eyes lit up, and he walked over to her.

  "Lynn! I will beat Potter!"

he shouted, placing his hands on Lynn's shoulders, completely ignoring the strange witch beside him.

Lynn stared at him blankly, wondering what was wrong with Cedric today.

  "Uh…yes, you will beat Potter."

"Shouldn't you be saying something more inspiring at a time like this?"

"Can't we wait until next time we meet? I'm a little nervous right now…"

"Who the hell buys Little Milly?!" Cedric yelled, releasing Lynn and clenching his fists as he walked away, continuing to cheer himself on, "I will defeat Potter! Who the hell buys Little Milly?! I will defeat Potter!…"

Shaike didn't even say a word; she just watched Lynn and laughed, and Lynn already felt like his face was about to be slapped.

"The one in the yellow-dominated school robes must be Hufflepuff, right? Is this an exception?"

Shaike smiled, looking at Lynn, who didn't know what expression to make.

"Or perhaps, is this a sign of maturity and composure?"

"Okay, I admit, he acted a bit silly just now, but he's usually really mature and composed; I just don't know what's wrong with him today..."

Lynn's explanation was clearly weak, but Shaike didn't seem to mind the behavior of the young wizards she had just witnessed. In fact, her interest seemed to have increased even more.

"What about Gryffindor? I heard that your headmaster, Dumbledore, came from that house. What's the atmosphere like there?"

Slytherin and Gryffindor were Hogwarts' two most notorious troublemakers; they were responsible for almost 90% of the chaos in the school.

Slytherin was, after all, Lynn's own house, and he was willing to help beautify it.

But Gryffindor… he really couldn't help even if he wanted to.

Lynn didn't even bother with an introduction. He pointed to the Weasley twins, who were being chased all over the castle by Filch for throwing dung bombs at Madam Norris.

  "This is Gryffindor,"

Shayk said, surprisingly not finding anything wrong with it, nodding in approval.

"Very lively, very energetic." Lynn thought to himself

, "You definitely won't think that way when they throw dung bombs at you. "

  He asked aloud,

"You've basically seen all the students from the four houses. Is there anywhere else you'd like to see?"

Shayk looked at Lynn, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Her eyes were large, with light brown pupils.

  She gave a charming smile.

"May I invite you to dinner?"

Lynn didn't feel the slightest bit tempted; in fact, he subconsciously took a step back, his mind already on edge.

If he were ten years older, Lynn might have guessed she was after his good looks, but he was only twelve. Even if he was a promising young man, he was definitely not old enough to charm countless girls. "

Unsolicited kindness is always suspicious, "

Lynn said without batting an eye.

"You're Professor Dumbledore's honored guest; shouldn't you be having dinner with him?"

"I already had lunch with Headmaster Dumbledore at noon, and we've discussed everything. For dinner, I think it would be quite interesting to chat with a young wizard about life at Hogwarts."

The more she said this, the more Lynn wanted to shift the blame. He looked around, hoping to find a suitable person to take the fall.

Nearby, besides the Weasley brothers, who had already been caught and were being lectured by Professor McGonagall, only Neville, whose legs were chained and who was still crying as he jumped towards the Gryffindor common room.

Yes, Neville had only just jumped this far.

Lynn couldn't bear to hurt the poor child, so he helped remove the leg-binding curse from his body.

  "Thank you,"

Neville said gratefully before hurriedly running away. He knew Lynn was different from Malfoy, but perhaps because he had been bullied so much, he always subconsciously kept his distance from Slytherin students.

"I'll only eat dinner in the Great Hall,"

Lynn decided to choose the location himself, at least to have some control.

  Shayk didn't refuse his request.

"Why not? I've always heard that the food at Hogwarts is excellent, so of course I have to try it this time."

That evening, Lynn brought the witch from Sue to the Great Hall.

He didn't find a separate seat for her, but instead, as usual, sat at the Ravenclaw table with Cedric, Ian, and the others.

The unfamiliar witch, Shayk, stood out in the Great Hall, as the young wizards of Hogwarts had never seen her before, especially since this adult witch was eating at a student's table.

Cedric and Ian were much more at ease during the meal, both a little reserved in the presence of a stranger.

Lynn, on the other hand, was completely at ease. Surrounded by familiar faces, this was his domain, and he wasn't afraid of what tricks the strange witch might pull.

While eating his pork knuckle, he asked Cedric,

"What was wrong with you this afternoon? Even if you were just trying to cheer yourself up, why were you shouting so loudly?"

Cedric was a little embarrassed by the mention of it; he had just realized that the beautiful lady beside them had been present when he had spoken to Lynn that afternoon.

"It was Blaise. He told me to hypnotize myself this way if I was nervous about tomorrow's game."

  "Did you find it helpful?"

"It seemed quite helpful at the time, but afterwards it felt incredibly embarrassing."

Shaik showed none of the airs of a Soviet Magic Committee representative; she was remarkably approachable, even joining their conversation about Quidditch.

"The Quidditch in the Soviet Union is a bit different from the mainstream Quidditch in the wizarding world. We don't ride flying broomsticks when we play, we ride big trees."

Riding big trees wasn't something I made up; it's a real tradition. I can only say they truly deserve to be called the "fighting nation" in the eyes of the world…
