You'll follow Leo, a young man who feels invisible, who is handed a single, shimmering chance to matter. And Cassie, the girl who seems to have everything, yet is trapped in a gilded cage of her own. It's a story about the lies we tell to escape our lives, and the even bigger lies we tell to enter someone else's.
Set against the decadent, neon soaked backdrop of the #1980s a time of loud money, quiet corruption, and the desperate search for identity this novel is a thriller of the heart. It's about reinvention, class, and the violence we do to ourselves in the name of love.

I wrote it to understand that magnetic pull toward someone who is, in many ways, a stranger. I wrote it to explore how far a person can bend before they break.
So, get comfortable. Put on some 80s synth. And remember: every obsession has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This is what happens in between.
