Chapter 1 - Chapter:1 The book that stole my soul (Transmigration)

What kind of ending is this?!"

I slammed the thick, leather-bound book on to my desk. Dust flew everywhere, making me sneeze.

I had bought this nameless novel from a old lady at a street corner for just a few bucks.

The cover was beautiful—engraved with silver lilies and thorns—but the content? It was pure trash!

"How could the author kill off Liam?!" I screamed at the ceiling.

"He was the only one who truly loved that ungrateful Saintess! And Daniel? That arrogant jerk gets the girl and the throne?

This is a scam!"I looked at the illustration of Liam in the book.

He was the Royal Knight, the Second Lead, with eyes as deep as the sea and a heart of gold.

And then there was the Villainess, Isabel meher —She was executed for obsessing over Daniel.

"If I were Isabella," I muttered, tracing Liam's picture with my finger, "I wouldn't waste a second on that Prince.

I'd grab this handsome knight and run away to a private island."

Suddenly, the silver ink on the pages began to glow. A cold wind swept through my room, smelling of ancient parchment and roses.

"Wait, what's happening—?"

Before I could finish, the floor beneath me vanished.

"My Lady, the Crown Prince is here to break the engagement. Please, stop crying and come out!"

I groaned, burying my face deeper into the pillow.

Wait. My pillow felt... like silk? And the voice? It sounded like it belonged to an old lady in a period drama.

I opened my eyes.A giant crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling. The bed was large enough to host a football match. And standing next to me was an elderly maid, looking at me with pity.

I scrambled to the nearest mirror. A girl with sharp violet eyes, cold porcelain skin, and hair like spun silver stared back.

"Isabella meher?" I whispered.

I wasn't just in the book. I was the Villainess.

The one who gets executed in Chapter 50 for poisoning the Saintess Rose.

"My Lady, please! His Highness Daniel is losing his patience!" the maid pleaded.

I froze. Daniel? That toxic trash? I marched out of the room, ready to give that 'Hero' a piece of my mind.

I reached the grand balcony and saw him—Prince Daniel, looking arrogant as ever.

But then, my eyes shifted.

Standing right behind him, clad in silver armor with a sword at his waist, was Liam.

His cold, stoic face was even more handsome than the book described.

My heart did a somersault.

"Isabella," Daniel barked. "I love Rose. This engagement is a mistake. I know you'll cry and beg, but my heart belongs to—"

"Okay! Cancelled!" I shouted, jumping with joy.

Daniel blinked. The cold Prince actually looked confused. "Wait!

What?"

"The engagement! It's over! Bye-bye!" I waved my hands dismissively.

Then, ignoring the Prince's gaping mouth, I sprinted straight toward the stoic knight behind him.

"Hi, Liam! I'm Isabella meher . Do you like flowers? Or swords? Or me?"

Liam, the man who was supposed to be a fearless warrior, actually took a step back in shock. His ears turned bright red.

Daniel's face turned from confusion to pure fury. "Isabella! I am talking to you! Why are you hitting on my bodyguard?!"

I didn't even look back. "Because he's hot and you're not! Now hush, the adults are talking."

Liam looked at me, then at the Prince, then back at me. I could see it in his eyes—he was still hopelessly in love with Rose.
