The afternoon in Moster City was the kind of perfect that almost felt artificial, all clear skies and warm sunlight spilling across the streets in a way that made it easy to forget the entire place was nothing more than a simulation.
Chad had already gathered the girls and set off toward the Ceylan Ruins, moving with the easy confidence of someone used to leading a group. Flynn, however, preferred not to draw attention to himself. He made a casual excuse about needing to take care of something and chose to travel alone instead. He didn't even meet them at the dungeon entrance.
