Chapter 1 - The last message I never sent

Chapter 1:11:59 PM

The phone screen glowed in the dark

.

11:59 PM.

Aanya stared at the message she had been typing for the last ten minutes.

"I miss you."

She sighed and deleted it.

"No… that sounds too weak."

She typed again.

"Why did you leave?"

Delete.

Her fingers trembled slightly.

It had been six months.

Six months since he disappeared.

No calls.

No texts.

No explanation.

Just silence.

Aanya clenched her phone tightly.

"Why now…" she whispered.

Her heart was beating fast again.

Every night felt the same.

Lonely.

Empty.

But tonight felt different.

The clock changed.

12:00 AM.

Her phone suddenly vibrated.

Aanya froze.

Slowly, she looked down.

Unknown Number.

Her breath stopped.

A new message appeared.

"I'm sorry."

Her hands started shaking.

She opened the chat.

Another message came.

"I didn't have a choice."

Tears filled her eyes.

"Rohan…?" she whispered.

But the reply came instantly.

"It's not safe for you to know."

Aanya's heart dropped.

"What do you mean?" she typed quickly.

Three dots appeared.

Then disappeared.

Then appeared again.

Her breathing became uneven.

Finally—

A message arrived.

"They're watching."

Chapter 2: The Truth Hidden

Aanya stared at the screen in fear.

"They're watching?"

"What does that even mean?"

She typed again.

"Where are you? Are you okay?"

No reply.

Minutes passed.

Her heart raced faster with every second.

Then—

Her phone rang.

Unknown Number.

Her hands trembled as she answered.

"H-Hello?"

Silence.

Then a low voice—

"Aanya…"

Her eyes widened.

It was him.

"Rohan?! Where are you? What's going on?"

"Listen carefully," he said.

"I don't have much time."

Fear filled her chest.

"What do you mean?"

"If they find out I contacted you…"

The call cut.

Aanya's heart dropped.

"What is happening…?"

Her phone buzzed again.

New message:

"Trust no one."

Chapter 3:The Stranger

The next day felt unreal.

Aanya couldn't focus on anything.

Her mind kept replaying his voice.

"Trust no one."

She walked home slowly.

But then—

She felt it.

Someone was watching her.

She turned around.

A man stood across the street.

Wearing black.

Looking directly at her.

Her heart skipped.

She walked faster.

So did he.

Fear took over.

She ran.

Footsteps followed.

Suddenly—

Someone grabbed her wrist.

She gasped.

"Relax," a voice said.

She looked up.

A different boy stood in front of her.

"I'm not here to hurt you."

"Then who are you?" she asked.

He looked serious.

"I'm here because of Rohan."

Aanya froze.

"What do you know about him?"

The boy's eyes darkened.

"More than you think."

Chapter 4: The Secret

They stood in silence.

Aanya's heart was still racing.

"Tell me the truth," she said.

The boy sighed.

"Rohan didn't leave you."

Aanya's breath stopped.

"Then why did he disappear?"

The boy hesitated.

Then said—

"Because someone wanted him gone."

Fear filled her eyes.

"Who?"

The boy looked around carefully.

"People you don't want to mess with."

Aanya shook her head.

"This doesn't make sense."

"It will," he said quietly.

"But first…"

He looked directly at her.

"You need to stay alive."

Chapter 5: The Choice (Hook Ending)

That night, Aanya couldn't sleep.

Everything felt wrong.

Her normal life…

Was no longer normal.

Her phone buzzed again.

Unknown Number.

She opened it slowly.

One message.

"Leave the city."

Her heart pounded.

Another message came.

"Or you'll disappear like him."

Tears filled her eyes.

Fear… anger… confusion…

All mixed together.

She clenched her phone tightly.

"No," she whispered.

"I'm not running anymore."

Her eyes hardened.

"I'm going to find the truth."

Because this time—

She wasn't the girl waiting for answers.

She was the one who would uncover them.
