Tokyo, Harajuku Station.
Orange eyes and short orange hair. Wearing the Tokyo Jujutsu High uniform that had been sent in advance—dark blue-black jacket and matching pleated skirt.
The final first-year student, a female sorcerer from the countryside.
She looked at the two somewhat clueless boys across from her.
With one hand on her hip, Kugisaki confidently introduced herself:
"My name is Nobara Kugisaki."
"Cheer up, boys—something red has arrived."
Yuji grinned and pointed at himself.
"Yuji Itadori, from Sendai."
Fushiguro remained expressionless, offering only a single line:
"Megumi Fushiguro."
Tokyo, Roppongi.
An abandoned building beside a large cemetery.
A black coupe was parked by the roadside. In the driver's seat sat the Jujutsu High assistant supervisor, Kiyotaka Ijichi, dressed in a gray suit with neatly parted hair.
In the back seat, White Zetsu sat with a cigar in his mouth, exhaling thick smoke, impatiently staring at the time on his phone.
"What's that white-haired guy even doing? Picking up some girl shouldn't take this long."
"White Zetsu, speaking ill of your teacher behind his back isn't very appropriate," Ijichi adjusted his glasses and said sternly.
White Zetsu waved dismissively.
"Relax, Ijichi. That white-haired idiot's still with the students—he's not just going to teleport in suddenly. What are you scared of?"
Ijichi quickly scanned the surroundings—the side windows, windshield, rearview mirror.
After confirming there was no sign of Gojo Satoru, he let out a quiet sigh of relief. His tone immediately softened.
"You should still be careful… when Gojo-sensei gets angry, it's really terrifying."
White Zetsu blew out a thick cloud of smoke, his clown-like face somehow forcing out the aura of a crime boss.
"Don't worry. With me around, you're covered."
"Heh…"
Ijichi forced an awkward laugh. After half a year, he knew exactly what kind of character White Zetsu was.
Ever since cursed tools were banned, this shameless cursed spirit user had been squeezing into the assistant supervisor's car…
A truly bizarre individual.
Just as White Zetsu was bragging, a commotion echoed from the other end of the street.
"You liar! You jerk who mocks country people!"
"Where's the luxurious Roppongi shopping mall?!"
Looking at the ominous, blackened building in front of her, Kugisaki shouted in disbelief.
"Damn it! My Chinatown feast!"
Yuji covered his face with both hands, dejectedly complaining.
Fushiguro remained calm. When Gojo had said they were going shopping in Roppongi, he already suspected it would turn out like this.
"Pink-haired gorilla… and a delinquent girl…"
Suddenly, a car door opened nearby, and White Zetsu's pretentious voice emerged from the thick smoke.
"Gojo, you're late."
Kugisaki frowned at the figure hidden in the smoke.
"What the hell is that?"
"That scared me—I thought the car was empty," Yuji turned his head and exclaimed.
"That voice… and that way of addressing him… is that Clown Face?"
Gojo Satoru smiled but said nothing, hands in his pockets as he prepared to watch the show.
As the smoke cleared, Kugisaki's expression changed drastically.
"Is this the entrance test for new students?!"
She gripped her hammer tightly, several sharp nails held between her fingers, her gaze turning cold.
A humanoid cursed spirit wearing a black robe with red clouds.
Even though she couldn't sense cursed energy, the pale face and shark-like teeth were enough.
Unlike Yuji, Kugisaki wasn't that dense—she identified White Zetsu's true nature at a glance.
Yuji stared blankly at White Zetsu's appearance.
Leaning against the car door, cigar in one hand, and a pink gun partially visible at his waist.
Putting aside his absurd identity—just this outfit alone…
How does he look like a student at all?!
He looked like a full-blown delinquent walking the streets.
"Clang!"
Before Yuji could process it, a sharp sound rang out.
A black nail shot forward like a bullet, trailing pale blue cursed energy.
"Clang! Clang! Clang!"
Three nails struck his seemingly soft uniform, sparks flying as they bounced off.
"Hey, delinquent girl!"
White Zetsu flicked ash from his cigar, his tone mocking.
"A Grade 3 sorcerer trying to challenge me? Looks like your brain isn't working too well either."
"Tch… damn it!"
Kugisaki gritted her teeth. Dozens of nails from her pouch floated into the air.
"So curses in big cities really are different!"
"Smarter—and their mouths are even filthier!"
Killing intent filled her eyes as cursed energy surged into her hammer.
"Straw Doll Technique—"
"Kugisaki, wait!"
Yuji quickly grabbed her and pulled her aside. The floating nails clattered to the ground.
"Pink hair, let go!"
"That thing's a curse! If you get in my way, I'll beat you too!"
Kugisaki glared at him, her cursed energy rising again.
"He is a curse, but he's also a student at the school! Don't be reckless!"
Yuji said helplessly.
He glanced at Fushiguro, who stood silently to the side, making him even more exhausted.
"Huh?!"
"You're saying that thing is also a student?!"
Kugisaki froze in shock.
"That's right."
White Zetsu exhaled a large ring of smoke and walked over slowly.
"To protect world peace and uphold love and—"
"Stop!"
Yuji raised his hand.
"White Zetsu, don't continue—you'll get sued for plagiarism!"
"Though honestly… those Team Rocket lines do suit you."
White Zetsu smirked, giving Yuji an approving look.
"Not bad, pink gorilla—you've got taste. You even know Team Rocket."
Yuji scratched his head and laughed.
"Besides Team Rocket, I've also seen movies about worm-man and that one where bats fight clowns."
"I approve of your taste!"
White Zetsu nodded and handed him a fresh cigar.
"If anything happens, I've got your back."
Yuji waved his hands quickly.
"Thanks, but I don't smoke."
"Take it! When the boss offers you a cigarette, you accept whether you smoke or not!"
White Zetsu exuded a gangster-like aura.
"This isn't just a cigarette—it's my respect!"
Once the smoke thinned, Gojo finally waved his hand in front of his face and walked over.
"Ijichi, what has that idiot been watching lately?"
Ijichi twitched slightly and immediately answered:
"White Zetsu has been watching Hong Kong gangster films and Western cowboy movies."
He knew because, after his weapons were confiscated…
White Zetsu had been hiding in the car outside the barrier, claiming to "protect" the assistant supervisor—
when in reality, he was just sitting in the back seat watching downloaded movies on his phone.
"No wonder his chuunibyou aura has become so… mixed lately."
Watching Yuji and Fushiguro hurriedly explaining things to Kugisaki, and White Zetsu posing like a mafia boss—
Gojo suddenly burst out laughing.
The look in his eyes carried the same warmth as when he once watched Inumaki and Okkotsu traveling together.
PS:
Adding White Zetsu is meant to let readers experience high-level combat (in the future), while also showing the original protagonist group's battle growth through his perspective.
After all, if future power levels get too high, mixing directly with students would feel too out of place.
