Both villages woke up and the two absences hit immediately.
A Sunpelt warrior found Roshan before he had finished his morning food. "Chief. Where's Talon?"
"On assignment."
"What assignment?"
"The kind I'll tell you about when he's back."
The warrior looked at him for a moment, decided that Roshan's face was giving nothing away, and went back to the fire.
Two more warriors came to ask the same question within the hour. Roshan gave them the same answer both times and they accepted it because Roshan didn't play games with information and they knew that about him.
