Chapter 1 - The Birth of a Promise

The story begins in the late 1970s, in a dusty and struggling part of India where poverty was not just a condition—it was a way of life.

A narrator speaks in a calm but heavy tone:

"Powerful people come from powerful places… but the most powerful man is the one who creates his own place."

In a small slum in Mumbai, a young boy named Rocky watches the world around him with sharp eyes. Hunger, pain, and struggle—these are things he understands better than most children his age.

His mother, Shanthamma, lies weak and ill on a worn-out bed. Despite her condition, her voice carries strength.

She calls Rocky closer.

"Promise me something," she says softly.

Rocky, confused but serious, nods.

"I don't want you to live like this… poor, helpless. If you have to die… die like a king."

Those words burn into Rocky's heart.

From that moment, the boy no longer dreams of survival—he dreams of power.

Outside, the rain begins to fall.

And somewhere deep inside, a storm is born.
