The market was still quiet after the fight.
Bandits lay groaning on the ground while the vendors and townspeople stared at the young girl standing over them.
June Astral still had one boot lightly on the bandit's chest, her expression sweet and calm.
Just then, someone pushed through the crowd.
A man wearing the clothes of a palace servant hurried forward and bowed deeply.
"Your Grace," he said respectfully.
The words shocked everyone nearby.
"His Majesty is calling for you. It is time to return."
Whispers spread quickly through the crowd.
"Your Grace…?"
"Wait… did he say Your Grace?"
June blinked once.
Then she lifted her foot off the bandit and brushed her dress lightly as if nothing important had happened.
"Oh, oh."
She placed a finger against her cheek thoughtfully.
"Home is calling."
Then she smiled brightly at the shocked vendors and the defeated bandits.
"I guess I should go."
She gave a small playful wave.
"I'll see you next time."
With that, June turned and walked away with the servant, her long ponytail swaying behind her as she disappeared into the busy street.
The crowd stood frozen.
Only now did they realize something unbelievable.
The cute girl in the commoner dress…
Was actually a high noble of the empire.
Not far away, leaning slightly against a wall, Lucas de Hein watched her leave.
His silver eyes followed her disappearing figure.
"…Your Grace," he murmured quietly.
So the mysterious girl had a title.
Lucas straightened slightly.
For the first time that day, a clear thought crossed his mind.
It seemed the girl he had been watching…
Was even more interesting than he originally believed.
