Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Ignivar egg

In the ancient world of Draconia, dragons once ruled the skies, shaping the balance of life with their immense power. There were two sides: the radiant dragons of Elyndra, who protected the world, and the dark dragons of Noctyra, who desired control and destruction. After a great war between them, the worlds were separated, and the power of the good dragons was sealed into five hidden eggs and scattered across the human world to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

In a small, poor village far from any kingdom lived a seventeen-year-old boy named Xylars. He was known by everyone as the silent boy. Unlike others his age, he rarely spoke, not because he was weak, but because he observed everything around him. While others laughed and wasted time, Xylars watched the sky, listened to the wind, and noticed small changes in the world that no one else cared about. The villagers misunderstood him and often called him useless, but they did not see the strength growing quietly inside him.

Despite the way others treated him, his family believed in him. His father, Thermer, worked endlessly to support them even when he was tired and weak. His mother, Aakami, always encouraged him with a calm smile, and his sister, Sasiko, understood him more than anyone else. She often told him that his silence was not emptiness, but patience, as if he was waiting for something important. Xylars never answered, but deep inside, he felt the same.

One day, when his father fell sick and could not work, Xylars went into the forest to collect wood. The forest was familiar, yet that day felt different. As he walked deeper, the sounds of birds and insects slowly disappeared, and an unnatural silence filled the air. It was as if the forest itself had stopped breathing. Then he felt it—a strange pull, something calling him without a voice. Without understanding why, he followed the feeling until he reached a massive ancient tree whose roots spread across the ground like giant serpents.

Beneath those roots, he found it—a glowing red and gold egg, pulsing like a living heart. The moment he saw it, he knew it was not normal. This was the Ignivar Egg, one of the hidden eggs of the ancient dragons. Slowly, he reached out and touched it.

Instantly, a powerful energy burst outward. The sky darkened, lightning flashed, and the ground trembled beneath him. Xylars fell to his knees as something entered his mind. There was no figure and no voice, only a message appearing clearly within his thoughts.

The message told him that he had awakened one of the five Hidden Core Eggs, each containing immense dragon power. Visions filled his mind—dragons flying through burning skies, massive battles, and worlds breaking apart. The message warned him that seven powerful enemies from the dark world of Noctyra would soon come to take the eggs. It told him that he must protect them and find the others before they were lost. Finally, it revealed that he had been chosen not because he was the strongest, but because he protected others, even in silence.

As the message faded, a burning pain spread across his hand, and a glowing Dragon Mark appeared. At that moment, he felt a new power rising inside him—the power of fire. The Ignivar Egg responded to him, as if it had accepted him. But along with that power came something else… danger.

Far away, in the dark realm of Noctyra, the awakening of the egg was felt immediately. The servants of the dark dragons began to move. Among them was the Shadow Hunter, already on his way toward the village, moving silently through the darkness with only one goal—to take the egg.

That night, Xylars sat quietly inside his home, holding the glowing Ignivar Egg. The light reflected in his eyes as the Dragon Mark on his hand burned softly. At seventeen, he was no longer a child, yet he had never faced anything like this before. For the first time, he felt a deep and real fear—not for himself, but for his family and the village he had always tried to protect. Outside, the night grew darker, and the danger came closer with every passing moment.

A dangerous battle was about to begin. The hidden eggs were not just objects… they were dangerous beings, feared even by dragons.
