Chapter 59: Looting Gato
Zabuza frowned upon hearing this and said, "You want me to betray my employer? That's impossible."
"Who said anything about betraying? You don't have to do anything. Gato will definitely come looking for you. If you're unwilling to do the rest, I'll handle it."
Zabuza thought for a while and understood what was going on. His mission had failed, so Gato would definitely come to hold him accountable.
Zabuza lay helplessly on the bed and said to Haku, "Go get me some herbs. I'm injured and need treatment. I don't know anything else."
Naruto smiled and said to Zabuza, "That's more like it! Actually, you could totally let this little follower of yours come with me. Even picking up some scraps then would earn you more than this mission."
Zabuza's eyes darted around. After thinking for a while, who knows what he came up with, but he shouted, "Ah! My injuries are too severe! I've fainted! I won't wake up from this coma for eight or ten days! And Haku has no money to buy medicine for me!"
After saying that, Zabuza lay face down on the bed and closed his eyes.
Naruto's lips twitched as he looked at Haku.

Haku chuckled and said, "Zabuza-san is actually very gentle. I have no money for medicine, so please, young man, you must help me out."
Naruto smiled and said, "Let's go! Take me to see Gato."
"Alright! I don't even know how to address you yet."
"You can just call me Naruto."
"I'm Haku!"
After walking for about half an hour, Haku said to Naruto, "We're almost at Gato's villa. Should we make some preparations?"
Naruto nodded and said, "Of course we should. You too."
With that, Naruto used the Transformation Jutsuand turned into a big fat man.
Naruto patted his belly and looked at Haku, saying, "If you don't want to cause trouble for Zabuza, you should transform quickly too."
"Understood, Naruto-kun!"
After Haku spoke, he transformed into a muscular brute and followed behind Naruto.
Naruto led Haku openly to the villa's main gate, but they were stopped.
Without a word, Naruto pulled out a Kunai and killed the person.
Not wanting to be left behind, Haku also took out a Kunai.
The commotion at the gate attracted the guard dogs from inside the villa. Naruto threw several shuriken and killed them.
The dogs' barking drew out Gato's thugs from the villa. Seeing that the two had killed the guard dogs and the gatekeeper, they swarmed forward with blades to hack at Naruto and Haku.
There was still a gap between Ninjas and samurai, especially these Wandering Samurai. In less than ten minutes, Naruto and Haku had killed every single one of them.
In truth, most of the samurai Gato had recruited were just local thugs and ruffians with very little combat ability.
Using Kagura Minds Eye, Naruto quickly located Gato.
Naruto held a Kunai to Gato's throat and said, "I've been a bit short on cash lately. I wonder if Lord Gato could provide a little sponsorship?"
Gato said with a grin, "If you needed money, Ninja-sama, you should have said so sooner! I wonder how much you need? Is twenty million Ryo enough?"
Hearing the amount of twenty million Ryo, Narutoknew they were being underestimated.
Naruto gripped the Kunai in a reverse hold and stabbed it directly into Gato's shoulder, saying, "You really take me for a beggar. It's five hundred million Ryo for each of us. For every thousand Ryo short, I'll cut off one of your toes. For every ten thousand short, I'll cut off your foot. For every fifty thousand short, I'll cut off both your hands and feet and turn you into a human slug. If it's short by a billion Ryo, I'll slaughter you."
Hearing Naruto's words, Gato realized he had encountered a tough customer. He shook his head with difficulty and said, "I don't have that much money. All the cash in the villa only adds up to eight hundred million Ryo. The rest of the money isn't here."
Naruto smiled and said, "Let's go. Give us the eight hundred million Ryo first. As for the rest... I'll come back for it next time."
Gato nodded tremulously and said, "O-O-Okay... yes... fine!"
Naruto and Haku escorted Gato and quickly arrived at the vault where Gato kept his money.
After Gato opened the vault, he took two steps back and said, "All my money is inside. As long as you spare my life, all of it belongs to you."
Naruto sneered. How could he not see through Gato's intentions? Once they entered, Gato would immediately shut the vault door. After a year or so, Naruto and Haku would surely die of thirst and hunger, and the money would still be his.
"Do you really think I'm a fool? I was originally going to let you go, but now...!"
Before Naruto could finish, Gato knelt on the ground and kowtowed, saying, "I was wrong, I was wrong! I won't dare do it again! Take all this money, and I'll tell you about my other hiding spot too. Please, spare me!"
Naruto smiled and said, "Then tell me first, where is the other hiding spot? If I find the money, your life will be spared. If I can't... hehe! You can just wait to die!"
"I absolutely won't lie to you this time. I drew a Treasure map, it's inside the vault. I'll go get it for you right now."
With that, Gato stood up and prepared to walk into the vault.
Naruto cast Shadow Clone and followed closely behind Gato.
But to his surprise, Gato had learned his lesson this time. He took out a box, and inside it really was a Treasure map.
After tucking away the Treasure map, Naruto said to Gato, "Congratulations, your life is spared."

With that, Gato was about to kowtow to Naruto.
However, Naruto was quick and delivered a knife-hand strike to Gato's neck, knocking him unconscious.
Naruto looked at Haku and said, "Go in and take it! He said there's eight hundred million Ryo inside. We'll split it evenly, but the treasure will be mine."
But Haku shook his head and said, "We don't need that much. A few tens of millions is enough for us."
After saying that, Haku took out a large chest, walked into the vault, and began packing the money.
Once Haku was done, Naruto said with a smile, "You packed less than eighty million Ryo, didn't you?"
Haku nodded with a smile and said, "Seventy-six million Ryo. This is enough for Zabuza-sama and me. If there's nothing else, Naruto-kun, I'll leave this place to you."
Naruto nodded and let Haku leave.
Once Haku was gone, Naruto didn't care about anything else and directly stored all the money from the vault into the Spirit Spring Space.
After coming out, Naruto threw Gato into the vault.
"I said I wouldn't kill you, so I definitely won't. As for whether you can survive, that's your own business."
With that, Naruto closed the vault.
Then, Naruto took out the Treasure map and examined it closely.
After finishing, Naruto realized that the treasure was not far from the Land of Waves, in a mountain valley about twenty kilometers to the east.
Having a specific location, Naruto used the Body Flicker Technique to leave Gato's villa, ready to go treasure hunting.
